* IntergenerationalFriendship (combined with TheMentor): Adrienne, the trio's hairtylist who also happens to be an undercover superspy, is this to Chrissy, Ping and Mac--aside from having a good hairstylist/client-relationship, Adrien really takes it upon himself to help the girls learn to use and control their superpowers and, along with Zeke, helps to keep their newfound identities as superheroines a secret.

* SecretKeeper: Zeke and Adrien become this after the girls become superheroines--Zeke and Adrien are the only ones aside from Dr. Nightingale and Larry to known about Chrissy, Ping and Mac's superpowers and their identities as superheroes. Zeke in particular proves himself to be a valuable ally to the girls, despite not gaining superpowers like they do.
* VagueAge: It's never explained how old Zeke, Star, the twins and the Groove Squad are--considering that Zeke's able to drive without an adult with him, he must be at least 16. And it can be assumed that Chrissy, Ping and Mac are probably the same age as him (as well as Star and the twins), with Fernando probably being not that much older than them.

* PowerUp: A non-videogame example--for Chrissy, Ping and Mac to get into their SuperMode as the GrooveSquad, the girls have to drink a fruit smoothie (or any kind of fruit-based drinks, as it later turns out), since the girls were drinking fruit smoothies when they first got zapped by the jolt of electricity from Dr. Nightingale's laser. It's lampshaded by Mac when, after practicing cheerleading in the park and Ping and Zeke come back with some fruit smoothies, the girls get their superpowers back.

** To a smaller extent, the Triple Flip-cheerleading stunt (the one that Chrissy kept insisting on using) seems rather dangerous and nearly impossible to achieve--in fact, according to a comment that Star, when a rival squad tried doing that same move sometime prior to the upcoming cheerleading competition, at least half of the cheerleaders on that particular squad ended up in traction at the hospital.

* TheCheerleader: Chrissy, Ping, Mac, Star and the twins, Stacy and Roxanne, are all cheerleaders at Bay City High School, with Chrissy as the captain of their squad --
** Chrissy, Ping and Mac avert pretty much every single stereotype that you can think of when it comes to cheerleaders--they're similar to WesternAnimation/KimPossible in that regard. While Chrissy does have her "diva moments" and even her friends acknowledge that can be kind of full of herself at times, ultimately, she's a good person and a good leader.

Most of the characters are only seen in one or two different outfits throughout the movie. For example:

** Mac, just like Adrien, appears to be African-American, but she has GreenEyes--since she's never shown with dark-colored eyes and it's never said if she wears colored contacts, it's possible that she has MixedAncestry.
