The plot consists of adult-themed, intentionally shocking but funny stories involving a group of five 9 year-old school friends including a punk boy who wears no clothes, a politically correct but extremely unlucky kakhi boy, a drug-addicted depressed girl and a witty trans girl. The series is famous for its BlackComedy and [[NoCelebritiesWereHarmed cameos from various personalities]].

* TokenNonHuman: Fudêncio (a plastic toy), Conrado (a kakhi) and Baltazar (a cockroach). In Season 6, Liutenant Kevin Bacon, a pig.

* TwoGirlsToATeam: Funérea and Zé Maria are the only notable girls in the class. There is another one, but she rarely speaks and is mostly a LivingProp, although her and Funérea could still count in the early seasons when Zé Maria was a crossdressing boy.

* ArtEvolution: The backgrounds started as sketchy and using few colors, but in later seasons, they became more detailed and colored. However, the pre-existing backgrounds weren't redrawn and were kept.

* FunWithSubtitles: The sniveling narrator always has subtitles when he's talking. Whenever he says a bad word or something mean, the subtitles will {{Bowdlerise}} them and replace it with an euphemism or something nice. This is a TakeThat to Brazilian subtitlers, who often do not include swear words in subtitles and replace them with lighter words.

* AbsenteeActor: Some episodes do not feature Fudêncio or Conrado at all.

* AnyoneCanDie: Many episodes have characters dying, including the main cast, although NegativeContinuity always brings back anyone who is not an one-off.
** In "Apocalipsio", someone accidentally presses a button in the Pentagon, causing the whole Earth to explode, the only survivors being Baltazar (due to being a cockroach), Baltazar's girlfriend, Fudêncio, and Conrado (who is then smashed by a falling object anyway).
** In another episode, the whole planet sinks, killing off almost everyone on Earth, except for the kids and the cops, who found shelter.
** In "Apavoro", Zé Maria is killed off after being smashed against a wall and bleeding.
** In "Safeno Decide Contar", Funérea intentionally turns off Safeno's life support.

* FunWithSubtitles: The sniveling narrator always has subtitles when he's talking. Whenever he says a bad word or something mean, the subtitles will {{Bowdlerise}} them and replace it with an euphemism or something nice.

** Fudêncio's name comes from the word "foder[=/=]fuder", which means "fucking". In every episode, he's fucking with Conrado's life.

** TheSmartGuy: Either Funérea or Peruíbe.

* TeachersPet: Fudêncio, who Teacher Cudi spoils even when he's actually doing something wrong.

** In one episode, Conrado makes a poop that's so big, it clogs up the entire school's plumbing and makes the entire class and the police go to the bathroom to witness it. He blames it on Fudêncio, but, as usual, the latter ends up getting the good side of the story anyway, being added to the book of world records as the owner of the biggest poop in the world.

* VerbalTic: Zé Maria often includes "gentê" ("people", but with emphasis in the last syllable instead of the first) in her lines.
