An original series for Creator/{{Boomerang}}, ''Bunnicula'' premiered on it and Creator/CartoonNetwork on February 6, 2016, with new episodes airing the same day on both networks.

On May 23, 2018, Warner Bros. announced that the third season of Bunnicula would premiere on the Boomerang streaming service in 2019. However, every episode from that season first premiered on the Boomerang network, airing from December 1, 2018 to December 30, 2018. After this, Bunnicula continued airing reruns on Boomerang until April 28, 2019, when the series was completely removed from the network's line-up. However, the series has not been officially confirmed to be either continuing or ending after its third season, putting Bunnicula on an indefinite hiatus.
