The regular gag of a wall of products is played straight, as Baymax is baffled by the selection and turns to the other shoppers for help. He gets an array of suggestions from all across the spectrum, including a man there getting pads for his daughter, who all treat shopping for menstrual products as a completely normal thing to do, openly discussing it, to illustrate the episode's {{Aesop}} that periods are nothing to be embarrassed about. Baymax ends up purchasing every product recommended to him, since it's her first time needing them and he has no baseline to judge the best option for her.
