* WorldOfDumbass: HumansAreMorons applies in full force, with none of them being able to distinguish [[PaperThinDisguise animals in obvious disguises from actual people]], but the animals themselves aren't really much better due to their recklessness and convoluted ideas.

''Back at the Barnyard'' is a [[Franchise/{{Nicktoons}} Nicktoon]] from the producers of ''[[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]]''. It premiered on Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} on September 29, 2007, and it ended on November 12, 2011. Based off the 2006 movie ''WesternAnimation/{{Barnyard}}'', it features the same characters from the film, but deviates by being '''much''' DenserAndWackier than the (already plenty wacky) movie. It is set in an (at ''best'') BroadStrokes version of the film's continuity, where the events of the film are never explicitly referenced (and Otis' LoveInterest is replaced by a SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute with the exact same character design, but a personality more suited to comedy).
