It follows Woody Woodpecker, once again looking for food. He reads an ad in a Woody newspaper about a wealthy lady seeking matrimony who goes by the name Gorgeous Gal. After being enchanted by the millionaire's voice on the phone, he is invited to meet her in his huge mansion. The two know each other: Gal falls immediately and hopelessly in love with Woody. He is horrified to discover that Gal is old, ugly and fat. The rest of the animation shows Woody desperately trying to escape the mansion while being chased by Gal, who wants him at any price.
