* {{Maid}}: [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin The Head Maid]], though she's more like a babysitter. Mildred serves as this to Blake.

* {{Rule63}}: The cartoonist has designed a gender-swapped cast with multiple name changes and some gaining new personalities. For example, Maya (Matt) is a cosplay fan, and Artemis has traits of the BrokenBird. It also does not shy away from the UnfortunateImplications of reversing some of the characters' genders.

* 20MinutesIntoTheFuture: The post-TimeSkip comics and roleplays are ''supposed'' to take place in the 2030s, but still end up looking more like they take place when they were written.

* LovedByAll: Silver and Blaze's family have this in the roleplays. The only people to dislike them are either their enemies (for all of them), [[MySisterIsOffLimits Justin]] (for Sunlight), or [[EnragedByIdiocy Inu and Uma]] (for Torch).

* OurDemonsAreDifferent: The major difference is that rather than powerful monsters that punish sinners for all eternity, they have monetized the system. Sinners come in, are punished by Punishers [[PunchClockVillain (which is a job title)]], the punisher is paid, the sinner eventually has equal punishment for his crimes and ascends to heaven. Biologically, demons are also categorized into different types based off the SevenDeadlySins, of which there is a demon family that is the strongest of each type. Getting into more bizarre territory, Demons of the same type always produce a child of their sin (ie, Wrath + Wrath will always equal a Wrath demon), BUT demons of different types will always have a random type (as seen with Artemis (Lust) and Dark Matt (Envy), whose first two children are Damien (Gluttony) and Priscilla (Pride)); also complicating this is that Demon Nobles that are not the type of their family (like the earlier-mentioned Damien and Priscilla) will be both the family type and their own type. Lastly, the pecking order ends with the Devil, Luke, who writes and enforces the rules. Though [[spoiler:Luke is not the Lucifer of Christianity, he's the replacement picked by Lucifer himself]]!

** Of all things, and from all people, Artemis claims BreastExpansion to be this. Sure it gives you an incredibly alluring figure, but it's very easy for it to result in you coming out deformed or [[PopGoesTheHuman dead]].

* BrattyHalfpint: Damien and Priscilla are very rude at times. Only natural, considering their [[OurDemonsAreDifferent parents.]]

** [[spoiler: Inverted by the time of Generation 3, Ben does die a dramatic death, due to the resonance crystal running out, only after using all of its energy up and stays dead. However he does not ascend or descend just gets sent to a blank white void of a box, in which he will watch the world. Yet he can still be found there by pulling people into it.]]

** [[spoiler:Altair plans complete and total [[FinalSolution genocide]] and CessationOfExistence for the inhabitants of hell, both present and future, for the sole fact that Artemis fell in love with him]].
** [[spoiler:TORI decides to make enemies with the entire Heroes League, simply to deny Miriam from being with Ne, to spite Mordred.]]
* DistractedByTheSexy: [[http://comments.deviantart.com/1/577188445/4017747102 A hilarious example]] occurs in the "Growing Pains in the Neck" roleplay. Maxmillian Schneider, who, due to a... ''strange'' childhood, has no understanding of his libido, nonetheless gets distracted enough to walk into a pole upon noticing Esther Mokary's [[http://pommyman.deviantart.com/art/Growing-Pains-In-the-Neck-577188445 recent]] [[BuxomBeautyStandard growth spurt]].

** In the roleplays, Matthew also acts like this, eventually becoming a LoveMartyr once Uma starts attacking him and he ''still'' tries to win her favor.

** Out of the Demon Lords, Gloria, the Demon Lord to be of Gluttony, is considered the worst even by her peers as she sees the world entirely as "food" and "not food". (Annie, who has had several traumatic experiences with {{Super Persistent Predator}}s, has a nervous breakdown when Artemis tells her about Gloria.)
** Rosa is considered very dangerous by most of the cast because they'd prefer NOT to be hit with potions brewed by a genius witch.

* TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou: [[spoiler:Inverted; pommyman uses the author's comments to verbally attack Dark Matt when he's dying.]]

* GenericCuteness: The characters all look like Bomberman characters, so even Nessie, who is supposed to be an anglerfish, looks rather cute.
* GoingCommando: Nessie doesn't wear underwear. This falls into implied FanDisservice if you know how anglerfish reproduce.

* LethalHarmlessPowers: Collin's power (once "Chase" wakes up) is being able to touch the untouchable and pass through solid objects. Did we mention this power was inspired by [[Manga/DGrayMan Tyki Mikk]] and as such, allows Collin to ignore any and all defenses his opponents have? He was even able to tear Snake-Jaw out of Maxmillian, a task deemed impossible for even '''[[RealityWarper DARK MATT]]'''!

* OffModel:
** Sonic and co are both a tad thinner and taller looking. The black and white style also makes their muzzles more pronounced. Eggman is also affected by this.
** The [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys Fazbear gang]] are radically simpler in design, with Freddy and Bonnie noticeably missing their muzzles, Chica's mouth is shown as being closed, and Foxy's head is... weird, to say the least. All in all, it makes them significantly more comedic looking, ignoring their large blank eyes of course.

** Another strip tears Literature/{{Twilight}} in general, and Edward Cullen in particular, a massive new asshole.

* BuxomBeautyStandard: Rosa and Caroline, as foils to [[DCupDistress The Maid and Eloria]], are [[BigBreastPride proud of their large breasts]], though Caroline is mostly indifferent to the matter.

** The Head Maid really hates being as large as she is. Of course, if you had GagBoobs, you wouldn't be happy either.

** Esther starts off in this boat once she gets hit with a late growth spurt, but eventually moves out when she gains a positive body image.

* GagBoobs:
** The Head Maid is often the butt of this type of physical humor, while ironically being the SMALLEST compared to the others listed here. Caroline is second smallest and also frequently has her size mocked, but she isn't fazed that much. Eloria is third bustiest but [[HiddenBuxom tries to hide hers and is usually seen as flat chested]]. And finally Rosa is the bustiest character of them all by virtue of being a '''G''' cup! Strangely, Synder doesn't count despite having the 2nd biggest bust.
** In the roleplays, we have Momoko, whose breasts are large enough that they override Damien's BlackHoleBelly. This is because she has the power of growth and fertility, which also applies to herself.

* HilariousInHindsight: Crops up from time to time in the roleplays, especially the one that take place after the roleplays. Viv is the standout example; [[spoiler:her backstory is that Tails accidentally created her while repairing a clock for the Mokarys, due to Mysto sabotaging said clock to cause supernatural mayhem. Turns out that [[VideoGame/SonicFrontiers Tails was beaten to the "accidentally creating a quasi-life-form from technology due to unforeseen outside influence" thing by Eggman]] — by roughly ''twelve years'' InUniverse]].

%%** Of course, Dream and Damien, Justin and Ivy, and Maxmillian and Esther are crossover examples of this being played straight (to varying degrees of straight).

** During the Mogeko Castle RP arc, Dream theorizes that King mogeko might be tormenting Ne's mind directly [[spoiler:just like the way he does to Yonaka in the "good" ending of ''VideoGame/MogekoCastle'']], and suspects that Miriam might try killing the king to fix Ne's mind. When confronted, King mogeko states that [[spoiler:he'd never "play" with another guy; Ne's fear is purely from the events in the castle. King mogeko ''is'', however, artificially sustaining that fear in order to use Ne as bait in order to get Miriam.]]

* BuxomIsBetter: Rosa and Caroline, as foils to [[DCupDistress The Maid and Eloria]], are proud of their large breasts, though Caroline is mostly indifferent to the matter.

* HornyDevils: Downplayed with Artemis. She could eat life force through adult means, but it's easier for her to just drain it with her hands, not unlike [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure Dio Brando.]]

The comic also has another side, viewed from Ben's point of view and maintained by user and irregular troper @/AltairenDraconis, AD for short for those thinking it a mouthful, in the form of Data Log journals. The plots of these also tend to run parallel rather than with the comic.
