''War and Peas'' is a {{Gag Per Day Webcomic|s}} by German cartoonists Elizabeth Pich and Jonathan Kunz. The strips are self-contained and spoof aspects of life. Most are four panels long and many utilize dark humor and subversions.

Some of the recurring character in the comic include Slutty Witch, a woman who practices magic in a castle along with her cat; Officer [=McSexy=], a cop who is both sexy and sex-obsessed; the Grim Reaper; and two regular men named Bob and Bob who usually get along.

The comic can be found [[https://warandpeas.com/ here]].

!!Tropes:
* AmericanGothicCouple: The compilation release ''War and Peas: Funny Comics for Dirty Lovers'' spoofs the painting, with Slutty Witch in the position of the woman, the Grim Reaper in the position of the man, and the Reaper's sickle in place of the pitchfork.
* BatScare: One Slutty Witch strip sees the witch get examined by a gynaecologist, who finds a bat down there. When he jokes that it "[[YouNeedToGetLaid must have been a while]]" she casually reveals that that was just [[ClassicalMovieVampire her boyfriend]].
* FairCop: Parodied with [=Officer McSexy=], a cop who is both very sexy and very flirtatious. Posing in front of a criminal distracts him long enough to arrest the criminal, who even hits on him on the way to the police car.
* TheFreelanceShameSquad: Ripped pants while bending over to pick up a coin instantly draws a crowd of jeerers in "Lucky Penny".
* GoodLuckCharm: DoubleSubverted in "Lucky Penny". A man bends over to pick up a lucky penny, rips his pants in the process, and instantly draws [[TheFreelanceShameSquad a crowd who laughs at his exposed butt]]. But then a woman comes to compliment him on his butt, and said woman becomes his future wife.
* GrassIsGreener: In one strip a man working a white-collar job wishes he'd pursued his dream of being an artist, while an artist wishes she'd pursued a more financially-stable career.
* ShameIfSomethingHappened: Subverted in [[https://warandpeas.com/2015/01/11/the-moustache/ The Moustache]]. The moustachioed person interprets a compliment to his moutache with "shame if something happened to it" as a threat, but the person saying it is genuinely saying that it would be a shame if something happened to that nice moustache because something happened to his.
* SpeakNowOrForeverHoldYourPeace: Played for laughs in "Wedding Day". The couple from "Lucky Penny" is at the altar, and the priest calls for any objections: "speak now or forever hold your peace". The bride's mime ex-boyfriend stands up, but as he's a mime and doesn't speak, the wedding proceeds.
* SurprisinglyHappyEnding: In [[https://warandpeas.com/2017/06/25/rise/ Rise!]], a young girl who summons a demon...sits down to have a tea party with it.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted with characters Bob and Bob, whose whole schtick is being a friend duo of regular guys.
* PunBasedTitle: The title, ''War and Peas'', puns on the phrase "war and peace".
