[[AfterTheEnd The series takes place in the surprisingly nice post apocalyptic year of 0377AE]], and revolves around a Trio of teenagers,the jaded, overworked 18-year-old woman named Monica, Dominic, a rambunctious 13-year old boy who while not related to Monica by blood, Monica has knwon Dominic for his literal entire life, so they honestly might as well be siblings, and Sarah, Dominic's ditsy and eccentric 16-year-old girlfriend. The series is a gag strip involving all sorts of humorous happenings the trio find themselves in.

Y'See, after the world ended, instead of turning into [[CrapsackWorld a barbaric nightmare of marauding and bloodshed]] like you’d see in [[Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar most]] [[Film/MadMax Post-Apocalyptic]] [[Literature/IHaveNoMouthAndIMustScream stories]], what remained of Humanity decided to prioritize the rebuilding of society, which could be pulled off reasonably well thanks to the fact that the majority of the earth’s natural resources remained relatively in-tact! 300+ years later, & the world has rebuilt itself into what can best be summarized as, [[AnachronismStew The 1970’s, but with a Post-Apocalyptic aesthetic]].

But a New World means New Rules.
& among those new rules is that school is required up until 9th grade, but becomes optional after that. On top of that, people under the age of 18 can live on their own as long as they’ve graduated 9th grade, and are consistently supervised by someone 18 or older.

So now that all of that has been established, the story proper is that a 13-year-old boy named Dominic, along with his 16-year-old girlfriend Sarah, have moved in with their best friend Monica, who is now living in a house of her own upon turning 18. And so the comic a wholesome slice-of-life story follows these 3 youths and the various comedy to be had of their improbable lives.
