DapperDeoxys started stockpiling dozens and dozens of pages before releasing the comic, so that it wouldn't be too stressful to try and keep up with Pilot's once-a-week updates. After a few months of this, the comic began... and got to page 3 before computer problems deleted all the pages that had been finished. Due to real-life issues getting in the way, Pilot is on hiatus until December of 2015. Doodles are still put on Dapper's [[http://dapper-deoxys.tumblr.com main blog]], which go more in-detail about the various side characters.

The first game we'll talk about here is Radiocative, a game about a radioactive mutant cat who destroys a city [[ItAmusedMe because she feels like]]. Radiocative is immune to most forms of damage, but clean water is extremely dangerous to her. It, too, was popular enough to get a sequel, which is in development by the time Pilot takes place.

Radiocative 2 has more story compared to

original, while still retaining the gameplay from the original. In the second game, Radiocative is now opposed by government-created radioactive animals, known as the Alkalics. However, Radiocative now has new allies in the form of the Acidics, who were also house pets like her prior to being mutated.

Time-Line is yet another of these games, about a woman named Desdemona and her many adventures through time. The game switches between both her present self (a college student), and a past version of herself (a knight). Desdemona's trying to destroy an ancient, cursed artifact that's causing all this temporal madness to save the world.

Cieplus+'s Adventure has been mentioned, but is rather undeveloped compared to the other games. It's about a very hungry centipede who wants to eat a bunch of blob villagers. All of these games were made by the in-universe company Lethal Grimalkin Productions.

The next of their games is Cycle, a puzzle game built around music. Cycle is split into three different types of levels: Speed, Puzzle, and Action. Speed plays somewhat like a AutoScrollingLevel, forcing you to race against the clock (or in this case, music) to reach the end of the stage. In Puzzle, you have to solve several music-based puzzles to reach the end, with faster music meaning you have less time, and slower music meaning the puzzle is more difficult. The last gameplay type is Action, where you must fight against several anti-music enemies, all on your way to defeat the BigBad, Static. The game can also use data from other LG Productions games to unlock more content (for example, having Night Terror would allow you to use several songs from its soundtrack, as well as unlocking a Vince model). Cycle has its own blog [[http://cycleconcept.tumblr.com here]], which goes more in-detail about the game's mechanics.

The last of their known games is Edgelord, a game about Edge, a [[RatedMForManly hypermasculine]] MartyStu. After his parents die (a fact he doesn't seem too upset about, given that he hated them. Though it doesn't really stop him from telling ''everyone'' he meets about it), he goes on a grand adventure to save the world. He's not alone on his quest, however; Edge is assisted by Ms. Milk, a [[BuxomIsBetter buxom woman]] who [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext keeps the entire game's inventory between her breasts]]. He also has another traveling companion, in the form of Father Figure, who [[OnlySaneMan appears to be the only character who knows how over-the-top and ridiculous everything is.]] This game is notable for playing straight several tropes that, by the time Pilot takes place, have been {{Dead Horse Trope}}s for ''decades''. Compared to LG Production's other games, Edgelord's reception has been more mixed. Some see it as a hilarious parody, while others see it as a lazy rehash of tropes that died for a reason. [[TakeAThirdOption And there are those who are neutral, and just like the gameplay.]]

Aside from the games, there are also a few TV shows in Pilot as well. The first of these was Bub Chucks, a Wipeout-like game where contestants would go through an obstacle course, facing foam props and fake 'death traps'. The hosts were two robots, the titular Bub and Chucks. After an [[{{Understatement}} unfortunate accident]] [[KillEmAll that resulted in some of the contestants being injured]], it was shut down, and Bub and Chucks went into hiding.

The second of these shows is the Deja and Nova Show, about two aliens, known as Echofaes, who came to Earth to escape being killed. Deja impersonates a college science teacher using his advanced alien technology, and must try to adapt to Earth's weirdness. While it's mostly an upbeat comedy, it has the occasional sad moment or dark episode. Ultimately, Deja and Nova became popular enough to be renewed for a second season, which presumably either hasn't aired yet or is still very new. Unlike Bub Chucks, the Deja and Nova Show is actually animated and not live-action.

Pilot bears numerous [[ShowWithinAShow in-universe games]], almost all of which have been expanded upon to the point where they could all be their own individual comic. The first of these games is the Night Terror trilogy, a series about a hero named Vince who fights off children's fears. Removed the mention of the characters page being somewhere else. It was dumb to wait until it came off the hiatus to move it. I was just being lazy.

For the time being, character bios can be found [[Characters/DapperDeoxys here.]] They will be moved here once the comic comes off hiatus.

Pilot is a webcomic made by Tumblr user DapperDeoxys. Pilot started its development cycle several years ago, but in a dramatically different form. The project was shelved for several years, but was revived by Dapper after their Five Nights at Freddy's AU was shut down, using reworked versions of several characters.

The comic takes place in [[TwentyMinutesIntoTheFuture the year 2025,]] and stars the titular Pilot, a robot who was created by a man named Danish to fly planes. Having been built with whatever scrap parts Danish had lying around, Pilot isn't the smartest robot, however, and often gets into trouble with his close friends and Danish's adopted kids, Apollo, Bhanuja, and Cherry.

But it isn't all fun and games. The world of Pilot is a dark one indeed. The OB Mafia, an evil group of terrorist robots, seek to cause mayhem and destruction. Their cruel deeds have caused many people to now [[FantasticRacism distrust robots by default]].

The comic's development was long indeed, as Dapper started stockpiling dozens and dozens of pages before releasing the comic. After a few months of this, the comic began... and got to page 3 before computer problems deleted all the pages Deox had finished. Due to real-life issues getting in the way, Pilot is on hiatus until December of 2015.

Pilot can be read on its own blog, [[http://pilot-webcomic.tumblr.com here.]]

For the time being, character bios can be found [[Characters/DapperDeoxys here.]] They will be moved here once the comic comes off hiatus.

!!Tropes

* AmbiguousGender: As of 2025, people are a lot more mindful of non-binary gender identities. To combat this trope, the people of the future came up with a solution: Colored arm bands, which easily convey one's preferred pronouns so nobody gets confused. Going without an armband is perfectly legal, though you'd risk being misgendered.[[note]]For reference: Blue for he/him, pink for she/her, purple for they/them, gray for xe/xym, and green for any pronouns.[[/note]]
* ArtificialLimbs: With the rise of robot parts came prosthetic limbs far more precise than what we have today. Robotic limbs are a very common sight, with several characters having them.
* LateForSchool: The comic begins with Bhanuja late for school and making a mad dash for her classroom.
* TwentyMinutesIntoTheFuture: Pilot is set in 2025. The most notable change in the world is that of the creation of advanced AI and robotics - robots are now commonplace, as well as having (apparently) full citizenship. Blank AIs can be obtained by the average citizen through unknown means, and then custom-tailored to fit their needs.
