It says quite clearly on the page for And The Fandom Rejoiced not to link to it. It is for in-universe examples and links from the descriptions at the beginning of related trope pages only. Also, leading articles don\'t count toward alphabetisation (and that\'s not the only alphabetisation problem on this page), and Bugs Bunny\'s name does NOT have an apostrophe in it.

In keeping with the 1990s backdrop, the strip not only references popular culture and current events of the time, but is drawn in the style of a '90s newspaper strip like ComicStrip/CalvinAndHobbes or ComicStrip/FoxTrot, both of which Barboza cites as major creative influences.

* MsFanService: Jocelyn can be this from time to time, but Denise Holbrook takes the cake in the "Animal Magnetism" arc. Aaron describes her by saying "She's got great hooters and she never wears a bra", later [[spoiler:offers Joel sex [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/F16-Animal-Magnetism-P5-435468893 here]]]] [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/F16-Animal-Magnetism-P6-435756812 and here]]

** The gang seeing the movie ''WesternAnimation/SouthParkBiggerLongerAndUncut'' [[http://count-kraumburger1.deviantart.com/art/F16-La-Resistance-Lives-On-315020205 in this comic]] which actually gets Joel into trouble when his mother hears him singing the "Uncle Fucker" song from said movie.

* TakeThat: JB uses the comic to take shots at things he doesn't like, such as [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/Forever-16-B27-268952050 Justin Beiber,]] [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/F16-A-Death-In-The-Family-190253654 the 2010 Yogi Bear movie and]] [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/F16-Singled-Out-193675205 Jenny McCarthy's anti-vaccine crusade.]]

* ThisIsGonnaSuck: [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/F16-Big-Mommy-309117715 Said word for word by Jocelyn when her little brother switches]] Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000 to CatDog. Her boyfriend, Steve, [[ActuallyPrettyFunny doesn't mind.]]
* VaporWear: Aaron states that Denise never wears a bra. This is actually proven in [[http://thejayster49.deviantart.com/art/F16-Animal-Magnetism-P7-435962007 page 7 of "Animal Magnetism"]].
** The page also implies that Denise [[spoiler:might not wear panties]].
* WhoWouldWantToWatchUs: Kendra, fed up with the formulaic lineup of Fox's animated programming, decides to make her own cartoon. Crosses into SelfDeprecation with this [[http://jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/F16-Fourth-Wall-Go-Boom-193953226 strip;]]
