* AnAesop: There's a subtle but persistent theme that [[ThePowerOfLove love is the most important thing]]. Made more obvious by Minh's father, when Minh comes to him for advice.
-->'''Minh's Dad''': What I did might be even considered ''treason''. But I'm in love, and love is always worth it.

IUEO now per TRS

* AwesomeMcCoolName: ''Marilith'' Millions. Sure the Millions part is a fake name, but Marilith would still be plenty awesome on its own.
** "Marshall Hunter" isn't bad either.
* AxeCrazy: Valentino
* BackAlleyDoctor: the Doctor
* BaldOfEvil: Stark the bodyguard

Foe Yay has been cut

* FoeYay: Valentino to Marilith. Particularly the time Valentino [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything forces Marilith to lick her gun]].

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Kimiko's response to Marilith pulling a [[ButterflyKnife butterfly knife]] out of her "pants" and stabbing a guard to death? Pointing out she's wearing a skirt not pants.

* IgnoredEpiphany: Marshall Hunter realizes he's no longer in the business to do the right thing, and has become a [[GloryHound "media-whore"]]. He decides to disband his mercenary group and join the police, and encourages his comrades to do the same. Well, at least until ten seconds later when he hears that Marilith is still around, and proceeds to lie, torture, and otherwise break the law in order to bring her down. Comes off more as TragicHero than WhatAnIdiot, though of course YourMilageMayVary.
