While somewhat embarrassed to do so, she will usually lend an ear and give some heartfelt advice when needed.

* NoPronunciationGuide: In a joke strip posted on Setzeri's social media, Tyyne laments (among other things) that foreign readers don't know how to say names such as hers or Lahja's. * AbusiveParents: Helle joined Lotta Svärd partially to get away from her abusive father (young girls needed their guardian's permission to become a full-fledged lotta, but strings were pulled to get her away from her home life). She has scars on her back from his abuse, and is initially very shy about this [[spoiler:until Lahja reveals them in a sauna, thinking the reason she didn't want to show her back was less heavy than it was]].

** Because of Setzeri's, how do we say, ''affection'' for [[VideoGame/DarkSouls Crossbreed Priscilla]], many had assumed that she was the inspiration for Lahja, but Setzeri said himself that she was instead more based around [[VideoGame/TalesOfPhantasia Mint Adenade]], in both her hairstyle and tendency towards faith (and, to a lesser extent, fellow medic [[VideoGame/TouhouProject Eirin Yagokoro]]).
