[[caption-width-right:250:"What do you think?"]]

''Air Ride Adventures'' (abbreviated as ''ARA'') is a comic created by Poyo Ride and currently managed by [=Kidsy128=]. It features various {{VideoGame/Kirb|y}}ies having shenanigans in a QuirkyTown named Edirria.

This series was originally ran by Poyo Ride, and was made as the SpiritualSuccessor of ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries'' not even a day after that series had been ditched. A few of the main TARS characters were brought back. However, Poyo Ride got bored with the series soon after, and made one final story before handing the series to [=Kidsy128=]. Kidsy made various changes to the cast and overall the series as a whole. Notably has been the most successful of Poyo Ride's series after TARS was cancelled, as it ran the longest and unlike the other comics, it is in the hands of someone else instead of being left behind.

!!"Tropes from the original ARA, ran by Poyo Ride, available for $10.99 at a retailer near you."

* ArtisticLicenseReligion: The Pacistars claim to be the reincarnation of the Dragoon, while the Star Gang is the reincarnation of the Hydra. That just doesn't work, as this is basically one individual star reincarnating into four stars, the way the Pacistars put it. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] since this is a myth.
* CallBack: When the text that states the kirbies don't believe in Dragonism gets to the "Dragoon Highlight Reel", one of the highlights is mentioned as Blue Kirby destroying the dragoon. This incident actually happened to the creator, and was listed on the ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries'' wiki very soon after it happened, being considered a canon TARS event, despite never getting a comic/story.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: You thought the Shadow Star didn't get enough appearances in ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries'' for a "main character." Here, his only major role is in the final story.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: The Rex Wheelie and Purple Kirby.
* {{Expy}}:
** The Hyper Stars are Ultra Beast expies, even being confirmed by the creator.
** Despite not being a borrowed character, Yellow Kirby is still very similar to [[Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries White Kirby.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: In the Rubbery Item Mystery, [[spoiler: The Shadow Star leaves seconds before HS 03 appears.]] The only other ARA story by Poyo confirms [[spoiler: They're one in the same.]]
* InsistentTerminology: [[Main/ReusedCharacterDesign Ziro's]] a rhombus, not a diamond or a tilted square.
* LighterAndSofter: Much more lighthearted than ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries''.
* SpiritualSuccessor: Intended to be this for ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries'', even borrowing several characters, and most of them remaining the same [[labelnote:explanation]] The exception being Blue Kirby, who is still very similar to his TARS counterpart. [[/labelnote]]
** Yellow Kirby is also strikingly similar to White Kirby from that series.

!!"Tropes from Kidsy's version of Air Ride Adventures, now available for $9.99!"
* AdaptedOut: Many of ARA's original cast are being changed in favor of new characters.
* AllThereInTheManual: Due to the series still being in the early stages, many information about ARA is only on Wiki/ThisVeryWiki.
* AltText: Averted, due to Wikia's limitations. True for the Website/SmackJeeves release, however.
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Justified, since they are Kirbies.
* ArcherArchetype: Purple Archer is one for sure. [[spoiler:He also has one of the Stand Arrows.]]
* ArtifactTitle: The series seems to be leaning towards being a very random series than Kirby Air Ride.
* BloodFromTheMouth: Orange Kirby in Comic 13: Beat Panel.
* CallBack:
** Wheelie Bike news appeared in ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries'' Comic 144.
** In the UFO story, the UFO has a cafe. The TARS wiki claimed that the UFO in TARS also had a cafe.
* CatchPhrase: For most characters.
** Yellow Kirby: "Yep! Sure! Can do!"
** Blue Kirby: "I stole your X!" and he also has a tendency to complain.
** Green Kirby: "By the power of plants!"
** Prince Harry: "Blimey!"
** Blindeye Samurai has GratuitousJapanese.
** Purple Archer has none.
* CloudCuckooLander: Yellow Kirby.
* ColourCodedEmotions: In spades.
** Yellow Kirby: happiness
** Blue Kirby: calmness
** Green Kirby: friendliness
** Red Kirby: angriness
** White Kirby: emotionless
** Pink: cheery
* DadaComics: To a tee.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Brown Kirby makes one on the artwork used for the ARA page on Wiki/ThisVeryWiki. Kidsy confirmed GKAR Brown was in the artwork before GKAR Brown was given a wiki page and official confirmation.
* ElementalPowers: The mainstay Kirboys have them.
** Yellow Kirby: PureEnergy [[note]] Because he's a funball. [[/note]]
** Blue Kirby: MakingASplash [[spoiler:And PlayingWithFire too because he uses hydrogen.]]
** Green Kirby: GreenThumb
* {{Expy}}:
** Blue Kirby is a thief. [[Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries sound familiar?]] Justified, as the series was intended to be a SpiritualSuccessor to ''TARS''.
** The cool Brown Kirby is also a [[Webcomic/GreenKirbyAirRide borrowed idea.]] The first wiki edit is also similar to GKAR Brown's wiki page.
* GratuitousJapanese
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Chainsaw. It's only a nickname, however.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Yellow Kirby is referred to as Yellow Kirby instead of his real name, Kiiro Ketoron.
* OverdrawnAtTheBloodBank: Orange Kirby.
* QuirkyTown: Edirria.
* ShoutOut: The former owner's avatar was a Pokémon.
* SpiritualSuccessor: Originally to ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries''. Several TARS characters return.
* TakeThat: The Clipart Schoolbus, which mocks the usage of clipart in ''Webcomic/TheAirRideSeries''.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Blindeye has pizza.
