And then as he reunites with the Assistant, it's to find out he wants him to kill a child...]]

* CerebusSyndrome : Hit the show once the plot really started to take off. It was already pretty dark, but once the police starts chasing Inthepanda, things really get serious.
* ComedicSociopathy : Deconstructed. Many web reviewers play the role of insane people who threatens to hurt people or things that they don't like, or who frequently do horrible things for laughs. Inthepanda takes that trope and leads it to its logical and horrifying conclusion.
* EvenEvilHasStandards : Inthepanda may do horrible things, but when discussing the plot of episode 12's movie, even he thinks that forcing a woman who was raped to live with her rapist was messed up, especially as it's supposed to be part of her therapy.

* EvilerThanThou : [[spoiler: The Assistant is more than willing to go further than Mr Panda, killing people even he is reluctant. He ends up backstabbing Mr Panda because he thinks he's getting too soft.]]
* FaceHeelTurn : It's not really clear when it happened, but [[spoiler: the commissionner's assistant became a fan of Inthepanda's methods at some point and betrayed the police for helping him. When the second season started, he became his full time assistant.]]

Hosted by Victor Bonnefoy, AKA Inthepanda/Mr.Panda, Unknown Movies is a french webseries about cinema. In every episode, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin and just as the title indicates]], Inthepanda analyzes a pretty obscure movie, as well as explaining its production history and giving some background about the people involved in the projects.

Unfortunately, Inthepanda doesn't do this just for kicks. He's a psychopathic killer who usually targets people with awful tastes in cinema, educating them about movies before finishing them off. And he will not stop until everybody finally develops some standards. Of course, it doesn't take long for the police to start chasing him...

As a result, the series mixes tongue-in-cheek (with a heavy dose of DarkHumor) reviews with an ongoing plot about Inthepanda's "crusade" / murder spree.
