''Twitch Plays Pokémon Waning Moon'' is the sixth run of season 3 and the 21st overall run. Like its [[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonSun predecessor]], it uses the recently-released ''VideoGame/PokemonSunAndMoon'', but this time, it uses a difficulty hack to make things harder, with multiple six-Pokémon teams lurking around every corner. It stars d76o6yttr?? (or Devin Yates), another boy on a Pokémon journey through Alola as he retraces his predecessor 9'l's steps and sates the mob's lust for badges by catching tons of Pokémon.

* LevelGrinding: Due to being a difficulty hack, it's fairly easy for Devin's team to fall behind in levels. The mob usually takes this as an opportunity to catch ''more'' Pokémon.
* RevolvingDoorCasting: Averted. Having played through the game once, the mob is much more aware of the dangers of the PC, so they swiftly turned off the Manual setting as soon as they entered the game. Devin has managed to retain desired Pokémon in his team throughout the game, with the exception of Leafeon.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Leafeom the Leafeon was hatched and boxed between the Lush Jungle trial and Olivia's defeat, barely managing to do anything of note.
