The series centers on the town of Morley Grove, Tennessee which has been plagued by bizarre child disappearances since at least the 1960's, and the figure known as "the Morley Man", which is presumed to be the force behind the children vanishing. It quickly becomes apparent that these are no simple child abductions, and something ''far'' more sinister is at play... something ''[[Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos ancient]]''.
