* AnAesop In 2015 and 2016, Monte Fjanton collaborated with the organisation UR (Sweden's main educational broadcasting company) to create three comedic sketches promoting smarter studying in school. Two out of the three sketches veer heavily into SpaceWhaleAesop territory, but the third featuring [[ConspiracyTheorist Morgan Månstråle]] failing miserably at a job interview due to his CriticalResearchFailure and abrasive manners has the much more tangible moral of "Study now - that way you'll avoid embarrassing situations later!"

* InterfaceScrew: Their [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxjwIAh576c fifth Q&A stream]] ended up being this. It started innocently enough, with a viewer asking Basse, Felix and Figgehn to name their favorite angle grinders, which they did and proceeded to demonstrate by adding images of said angle grinders to the stream. But as time went on, playing off of viewer questions, they added images of reality star Bergar-Berra, fellow Youtuber Pontus Rasmusson, "Johan Nilsson" (presented as the channel member, but in fact just an image of [[NamesTheSame another guy pulled from Google]]) and "Macke" (actually an image of Basse, as it came up when searching for Macke's name), complete with their angle grinders of choice as well. ** The creators made English subtitles through closed captioning for the first two episodes of Mystikhörnan and some early episodes of Basses Rätt i Skafferiet. (Later videos ''sometimes'' have community-contributed subtitles, but this is fairly rare.)
* ExtremeOmnivore: The taste testers from Basses Rätt i Skafferiet could apply for Type 1. They are very frequently shown eating all kinds of bizarre and squicky combinations of ingredients, [[NauseaFuel though they can't always keep it down for very long]].

* FreezeFrameBonus: In the review for ''Wabuu'', exactly 13 minutes and 37 seconds into the video, [[LeetLingo a screen saying 13:37]] is briefly shown.

* GrammarNazi: Felix shows shades of this in his review series, such as claiming that "there's no problem with [[Creator/DingoPictures this movie,]] just with reality" after finding out that people occasionally call a walk "promenadtur"[[note]]Which is a combination of [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment two words that both mean a walk]][[/note]].

* LargeHam: Basse in Basses Rätt i Skafferiet, as well as most of the cast of Mystikhörnan.

** In the review of ''Pochahontas'', Felix calls Creator/DingoPictures among others "Dongo Pongo".

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Basse's actual name is Sebastian, but he's only referred to as such during credits.

* RunningGag: A ''lot''. Examples include:
** In Felix Recenserar, saying that the movie ends before it actually does, then cutting to the credits with [[Film/Scarface1983 Push it to the Limit]] playing in the background.

** Quite a lot of running gags that appear in Felix Recenserar are [[CallBack Call Backs]] to previous episodes.
** Felix has a habit of explaining plot holes in the movies he reviews using EpilepticTrees.

** The word "skvättika" (which is a pun on "a splash of spirit vinegar") shows up a lot in Basses Rätt i Skafferiet.
** There are also many mentions of "the concentrated/copyrighted BRIS taste", a taste so fundamentally disgusting that it becomes a BrownNote prompting reactions like spitting or gagging.

** For a while, the crew used to say that Macke had been [[NoodleIncident eaten by wolves]] to explain why he hadn't shown up in any videos recently (at the time).

** They also bring up [[OldShame their old videos]] in this manner.

* SirSwearsALot: Felix in ''Felix Recenserar'', as a reaction to especially frustrating movies. Lampshaded when he and Basse discuss Helena Bergström's series of films simply adding "jävla" to her titles, and how they don't need to follow suit because he's already swearing all the time.

* StagingAnIntervention: At the begin of the review for ''Sune i Fjällen'', Felix gets confronted by his friends who tell him that he can't avoid reviewing the movie any longer and eventually ''has'' to do it, especially since almost every second comment on [=YouTube=] was "When will you review ''Sune i Fjällen''?".

** In every episode of Mystikhörnan featuring Morgan's Frågelåda, at least one of the questions brought up is when the next episode of Felix Recenserar will be released. Morgan reacts negatively to seeing this question and will often accuse Leffe of putting in nonsense questions.

* ThingOMeter: Used a few times in Felix Recenserar. In the reviews of ''Tusen Gånger Starkare'', ''Tsatsiki, Farsan och Olivkriget'', and''Samson & Sally'' a Message-O-Meter is used, and in the review for Camp Slaughter, a Fat Joke-O-Meter is used.

* WhamEpisode: [=S1E07=] of Mystikhörnan qualifies[[spoiler:, as it ends with the Demon King Baram betraying Morgan and Kenneth mysteriously disappearing, and presumed dead]]. From this episode on, it's apparent that this is no longer a lighthearted jab at conspiracy theories, but a story taking place in a CrapsackWorld where not only are Morgan's theories true, but the reptilians are pursuing him because of his studies.

* ArtifactTitle: According to their NärCon Sommar 2015 Q&A, their channel name is one. The name was basically meant to evoke Creator/MontyPython while having a silly twist to it, as "fjant" is a Swedish term for a silly person. However, their works have very little to do with Monty Python nowadays. Felix and Basse remember thinking the name was bad and considering changing it, but then realized the Felix Recenserar episode on ''Hip Hip Hora'' was absolutely blowing up and that their channel name had become their brand name, and that they were stuck with it, like it or not. That being said, they couldn't come up with any better name ideas for their channel when they were considering changing it.

** Any member could potentially be this in unscripted videos, but an honorable mention for this goes to Felix. He's a glasses-clad GentleGiant who collects tacky shirts and can talk about movies for hours on end, what's not to love?
** A scripted example would be Kenneth Hyvel from Mystikhörnan. He's somewhat naive, but he's very passionate about conspiracies and extremely loyal towards Morgan.

* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:Morgan Månstråle]].

* ConspiracyKitchenSink: Mystikhörnan, naturally. [[UnreliableNarrator The latter seasons play with this, though; you're never quite sure which (if any) of the theories are true.]]

** In Felix Recenserar, every time that a character dies, "I Will Remember You" by Creator/SarahMclachlan will be played over an "obituary" for the character.

* SoBadItsGood[[in-universe]]: Felix argues that Creator/DanneLehmussaari's films, ''Film/EvilEd'', and ''Hata Göteborg'' all fall under this. He also believes that this is why his old review of ''Hip hip hora'' remained his most viewed video for many years afterwards:

** In Mystikhörnan, Morgan's (and to some extent, Kenneth's) is "shut up, Leffe!".
** Kenneth's catchphrase is "thanks for that, Morgan!", and out of universe, it's a StockPhrase that Felix uses to get into character.

* ConspiracyKitchenSink: Mystikhörnan, naturally. [[ShrugOfGod Maybe]].

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotPolitical[[in-universe]]: Felix goes into this during ''Djurens konung''. Both during ''Första intrycket'' and the review proper, Basse and Felix joke that the film's aesop is that DemocracyIsBad and the jungle is best ruled by an authoritarian dictator, based on the clever snake quoting Karl Marx and other politicians, and how the king taking back the throne is seen as a good ending. The review also points out that the villain called Bokassa easily could be a reference to Jean-Bédel Bokassa, who ruled over the Central African Republic for a few years in the 1900s until a coup. Of course, this being a Dingo Pictures film, one can never be sure if any of these allegories was intentional on the film-makers' part.

* CatchPhrase: In Mystikhörnan, Morgan's (and to some extent, Kenneth's) is "shut up, Leffe!".

* ConspiracyKitchenSink: Mystikhörnan, naturally.

* HurricaneOfPuns: Happens extremely often, though mainly in Basses Rätt i Skafferiet.
* InsaneTrollLogic: Most of the theories that appear in Mystikhörnan run on this.
* LamePunReaction: As a rule of thumb, if a video doesn't have a HurricaneOfPuns, it has this instead.

* LethalChef: Basse.
* MaliciousMisnaming: In the review of ''Pochahontas'', Felix calls Creator/DingoPictures among others "Dongo Pongo".

* MidReviewSketchShow: It doesn't happen in every episode, but it happens very frequently in Felix Recenserar nontheless.

** Basses Rätt i Skafferiet is one: it's a spoof on the name of the Swedish children's rights organization Barnens Rätt i Samhället, and they both have the same exact acronym: BRIS.

* SelfDeprecation: Appears frequently, especially in Felix Recenserar.

** They also bring up [[OldShame Old Shames]] in this manner.

* SirSwearsALot: Felix in ''Felix Recenserar'', as a reaction to especially frustrating movies.

* TookALevelInKindness: In earlier episodes of Felix Recenserar, Felix is noticeably more cynical and aggressive, to the point of being somewhat pretentious. Since around late 2013, he's gradually mellowed down, and his newer videos have a much kinder tone to them.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotDidactic: Played for laughs in-universe in the review of ''Film/TheGrief'': Felix comes up with a theory that Norah is Sarah's alter ego, and keeps bringing up evidence for it and praising Danne for how deep the movie is, but then he remembers that he's reviewing a [[Creator/DanneLehmussaari Daniel Lehmussaahri]] film.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotPolitical: In-universe for ''Djurens konung''. Both during ''Första intrycket'' and the review proper, Basse and Felix note the snake quoting Karl Marx and the general plot of a king being overthrown by his detractors, and wonder if the film is Dingo Pictures' take on the failings of communism. The review also points out that the villain being called Bokasa could be a reference to one Boka''ss''a who ruled over the Central African Republic for a few years in the 1900s until a coup. Of course, this being a Dingo Pictures film, one can never be sure if any of these allegories was intentional on the film-makers' part.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Basse is 24 years old, but looks more like he's in his thirties. The fact that he acts like a middle aged cooking show host in Basses Rätt i Skafferiet doesn't help matters.

* ArchEnemy: Wabuu the Raccoon, being the mascot for Creator/DingoPictures, is sort of set up as this for Felix. He appears in a number of title cards to {{Troll}} Felix, and in the ''Djurens Konung'' review, he shows up (with his official Swedish voice actor reprising the role) to whisk Felix into an alternate dimension where he owns nothing by Dingo Pictures movies. and refuses to let him go home before he's reviewed another Dingo Pictures movie.

** In Felix Recenserar, the phrase "it starts with a cigarette, right", which makes fun of movies that utilize ScareEmStraight. It's often accompanied with a purple, contrasted filter and dramatic music, and may or may not be followed up with the outlandish consequences of smoking the said cigarette.

** The Felix we see in Felix Recenserar can often lash out and be really violent, but the real Felix is gentle, if somewhat snarky. This becomes apparent when comparing Felix as he's seen in unscripted videos such as vlogs and Midnatts-Let's Play to the Felix from Felix Recenserar.
** Basse is similarily shown to be sadistic in Basses Rätt i Skafferiet, while he's actually anything but.

* PunBasedTitle: Basses Rätt i Skafferiet is one: it's a spoof on the name of the Swedish children's rights organization Barnens Rätt i Samhället, and they both have the same exact acronym: BRIS.
