*** Well, the fact that class names and lyrics don't matter much is half the point, the other half being that they were already in perfectly good, functional, effective English. Put them together, and making the effort to translate them into "cooler" English is weird and and useless. And unless the stranger decisions really were directly ordered by Square-Enix, the responsibility is largely on the localizers for originating them (though SE certainly shouldn't get away unscathed, if they were indeed working closely on this).
