->''"My name is Logan. I had the unfortunate occurrence of being shot in the head."''
-->-- '''''Logan's Day'', first season intro.'''

''[[https://www.youtube.com/c/ryconroleplays/playlists?view=50&sort=dd&shelf_id=9 Logan's Tale]]'' is an ongoing Website/YouTube roleplay series by [[https://www.youtube.com/c/ryconroleplays/videos RyconRoleplays]] based on ''VideoGame/Fallout3'' and ''VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas''.

The story follows Logan Carter, [[CompositeCharacter AKA the Lone Wanderer, AKA the Courier]], and currently consists of two parts. ''[[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxIQ9fpV90xPyO1Dc6QbR8i88BFCyEhKQ Logan's Day]]'' begins in the Mojave Wasteland, with Logan struggling with [[LaserGuidedAmnesia amnesia]] after being shot in the head by Benny, and follows his recovery and quest for revenge, while ''[[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxIQ9fpV90xPJwBnk_S46UJHYQYV4JPqP Logan's Dawn]]'' flashes back to the character's origins in the Capital Wasteland, and his life before losing his memory. The series is planned to eventually return to the Mojave in ''Logan's Dusk'', and much further down the line will conclude with ''Logan's Night''.

The creator has also done similar roleplay series for many other games, including ones for ''VideoGame/Fallout4'' and ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim''.

!!Tropes present in the series:

* ActionGirl: Christine and Veronica are both capable wasteland survivors in their own rights, and part of Logan's character arc is realising that they can take care of themselves and that he doesn't have to worry about them all the time.
* AmnesiacHero: Logan throughout ''Logan's Day'' has only vague, [[FakeMemories muddled]] memories, has lost a lot of his skills and knowledge from his past, and only even knows his name because it was written on a piece of paper he was carrying. He's effectively a whole different person from his ''Logan's Dawn'' self.
* AnachronicOrder: The intended watch order is to start with ''Logan's Day'' and then to go back to ''Logan's Dawn'' to learn the character's origins afterwards. Though watching in chronological order is also an option.
* ArcVillain: Benny for season one of ''Day'', [[spoiler:Elijah]] for season two, and [[spoiler:the Think Tank]] for season three.
* AssholeVictim: Vulpes Inculta and Benny both deserve everything they get.
** [[spoiler:Logan also executes Dean Domino on the spot after he confesses what he did to Christine.]]
* BondOneLiner: This final line to Benny:
-->"Dig yourself out of ''this'' grave!"
* CannibalLarder: Andale.
* {{Cliffhanger}}: Quite frequent in the series.
** Episode 11 of ''Day'' ends on [[spoiler:Logan about to shoot a stranger in the back without knowing if they're innocent or not]].
** Episode 36 ends on [[spoiler:Logan collapsing from radiation poisoning in the bunker.]]
** Season 2 ends [[spoiler:just as he reaches the elevator to escape the Sierra Madre vault.]]
** Season 3 ends on [[spoiler:him about to undergo an operation to potentially restore his memories.]]
* CompositeCharacter: Similar to the ''Tale of Two Wastelands'' mod, Logan is a composite of both the Lone Wanderer and the Courier, who were otherwise separate characters in canon.
* DarkerAndEdgier: ''Dawn'' is this to ''Fallout 3'' in some ways. While the game presents certain characters and factions as [[BlackAndWhiteMorality unambiguously heroic]], Logan doesn't always view them so charitably, and as both major incarnations of the character progress, they both [[TookALevelInCynic get graudally more cynical and ruthless]].
* DejaVu: Logan finds the harmonica familiar, and believes that he might've played it before.
* DuelToTheDeath: [[spoiler:How Logan chooses to settle things with Benny.]]
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Logan early on in ''Day'' has dreams remembering his father (who is notably ''not'' James) being killed by the Legion, which becomes strange in the light of his backstory in ''Dawn''. Later seasons would explain this as FakeMemories due to his brain being scrambled by the bullets.
** The earliest seasons had a lot more raw gameplay footage, like clearly visible HUD elements, loading screens, and Logan eating through the Pip-Boy interface. Later seasons were better edited and generally more cinematic in presentation.
** Logan frequently stops to eat and drink at inopportune times in ''Day'', making him come off as a BigEater, as the way hardcore mode in balanced in ''Vegas'' means the character gets hungrier and thirstier at a much quicker rate than is strictly realistic for the timescale. This issue was ironed out in later seasons, and completely absent by ''Dawn''.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Logan attempts one at the Purifier, [[ThisIsSomethingHesGotToDoHimself even though Fawkes is present]], though of course he ends up surviving anyway]].
** [[spoiler:Years later in ''Day'', he unintentionally echoes this moment in the irradiated bunker of Fortification Hill]].
* ImAHumanitarian: The cannibals of Andale.
* ImpairmentShot: Logan spends a significant time suffering randomly blurring vision, ringing in his ears, and headaches following a head injury in Nipton.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Boone]].
* KnightInSourArmour: Logan is this by the later seasons of ''Dawn''. He's extremely [[TheCynic cynical]], bitter, and has few qualms about using violence, but he still wishes for a better world.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Vulpes Inculta and the rest of the Legion in Nipton aren't just allowed to walk away after what they did.
* LostCommonKnowledge: At one point after leaving the vault, Logan comes across a children's playground, and has no idea what he's looking at.
* OhCrap: Logan's reaction to reading the Platinum Chip delivery order, particularly the clause about mercenary reclaimation teams.
* PastExperienceNightmare: Logan experiences jumbled memories of his father's death and a previous encounter with the Legion while he sleeps, though they're [[FakeMemories not quite accurate]].
* PostVictoryCollapse: [[spoiler:Logan collapses from radiation poisoning in the Fortification Hill bunker after activating the systems for Mr. House. Veronica saves his life by carrying him out and giving him Rad-X]].
* PoweredArmor: The Brotherhood, of course.
** Logan wears a suit of his own in the later seasons of ''Dawn''.
* PyrrhicVictory: [[spoiler:Logan defeats the Think Tank and rescues Veronica, but Boone dies pointlessly, robbed of even the chance to go down in a blaze of glory like he wanted.]]
* SawedOffShotgun: One of Logan's favourite weapons in ''Dawn''.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Raiders in the Capital Wasteland often have red eyes. Logan speculates that it's an effect of the chems they take.
* TookALevelInBadass: Logan in the beginning of ''Dawn'' is a TechnicalPacifist who is intimidated by the outside world and runs away scared several times, but that quickly changes out of necessity.
* TranquilFury: Logan's reaction to finding out [[spoiler:[[BodyHorror what Dean Domino did to Christine]]]].
* TrueCompanions: Boone and Veronica are this to Logan, saving his life on a few occasions, [[spoiler:and he in turn goes far out of his way to rescue them from the Think Tank]].
* WalkAndTalk: Companion conversations are sometimes edited to omit the dialogue tree and take place over the course of a journey instead, most especially Veronica's.
* WistfulAmnesia: Logan is very aware that he lost almost his entire identity thanks to Benny, and is frequently bothered by it.
* WhamLine:
-->[[spoiler:'''Boone:''' I can't feel my legs.]]
