* CoolAndUnusualPunishment: In "The Meal", Ben's become creepily hyper-competitive at ''Magic'' [[spoiler:thanks to the Simic Slaw he ate]] but also very unpleasant to play against. Adam, Cameron and Kathleen deduce that this behavior is being sustained by his opponents' salt -- i.e. the despair of crushing defeats -- and they reverse it by tilting ''him'' out by deliberately playing awfully. Cameron, in particular, does this by playing Mountains non-stop until he has enough to cast [[StarterEquipment Shivan Dragon]], as opposed to his normally complex playstyle.

The group's passion for the game and opportunity to connect with representatives from ''Creator/WizardsOfTheCoast'' allowed them to create a full SpinOff. ''Friday Nights'' premiered in 2012, and over eight seasons viewed the growing and changing LRR crew play with each other, comment on the current state of ''Magic'', and get into misadventures around their Local Game Store. From September 2013 to May 2014 there was also a spinoff within the spinoff called ''Hero's Path'', which focused on Kathleen trying to beat the Hero's Path event during ''Theros'' block. In 2019 ''Wizards'' ended their sponsorship, but LRR retained ownership of the series and planned on crowdfunding further episodes the following year. But of course...

* AscendedExtra: Several people, like Ian and Ben, started off as associates and behind the scenes assistants of the crew before making the jump to regular cast members.

* EvolvingCredits: Unlike ''Friday Nights'', which has pretty well-defined seasons and opening titles alongside it, the opening for ''[=cH=]'' will update whenever a character officially joins or leaves the crew, even within the season (and seasons are pretty loosely defined anyway).

* InnocuouslyImportantEpisode: "It's Magic!" isn't especially different from any other preceding episode of the sitcom--at the time it would be most notable for having Tim's official exit and Alex's official introduction. But the premise is about the ''WebVideo/LoadingReadyRun'' crew getting back in ''TabletopGame/MagicTheGathering'', and the reception was strong from both fans and ''Creator/WizardsOfTheCoast'' themselves. It soon resulted in both the officially-sponsored ''Friday Nights'' spinoff series, and an increase in ''[=MtG=]'' gameplay and discussion content from LRR that would soon blossom into a key pillar for the company.

A Web sitcom that updates approximately once a month starring the cast and crew of WebVideo/LoadingReadyRun as exaggerated versions of themselves in their everyday lives doing odd geeky things in geeky ways.

Season 1 had a plot about an artist scorned and a myriad of subplots. Episodes ranged from 13 to almost 20 minutes long. [[RealLifeWritesThePlot They also got on the Jay Leno show]].

Season 2 and Season 3 have shorter episodes and no overarching plot but the characterizations are still the same and they maintain continuity. Currently the series is split into eight rough seasons, the last of which was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However in October of 2023 it made a surprise return.

From 2012 to 2019 it got its own SpinOff, ''Friday Nights'', which was based around the group's love of ''TabletopGame/MagicTheGathering'' and was sponsored by ''Creator/WizardsOfTheCoast''. The crew intends to produce more episodes once they're able to, the current plan being some time in 2024.

Years later, in "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGHvPdXVtIs Lockdown]]", Alex invokes this trope using the same Time Walk he received from Jer. * KillerRabbit: In "It's Magic!", Kathleen isn't interested in playing until Graham tells her she can make an all-cats deck. By the end of the episode she's assembled a very fast and aggressive deck that curbstomps Alex as quickly as he's beaten the other guys.

* EntertaininglyWrong: The main joke whenever Beej shows up is that he knows absolutely nothing about ''Magic''. For instance, he doesn't know about sets so he sorts cards by collection number and then color (in alphabetical instead of WUBRG order). He also shows up once in a variant of the "phases" shirt, only the phases are replaced by random nonsense.
