Instead of just being another name change like ''[=Mk3=]'', ''2085'' is stated to be a straight-up reboot with higher production values. A second season of 2085 was announced on June 2023 to be released at the end of 2024 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ''Classic Game Room''.
