In reaction to the terrible graphics, he uses a clip from a Creator/{{cs188}} WebAnimation/YouTubePoop of Music/{{Nickelback}} that sentence-mixes the opening line of "Photograph" into "Look at this fuckin' shit!" This line comes up again in "Irritating Stick... Seriously".

* BerserkButton: He seems to go through phases of what presses it and how. At first, it was Rascal Racers, which caused him to have a fit every time it was brought up. Then it was ''Series/CoronationStreet: The Mystery of the Missing Hotpot Recipe'', which causes mild anger and resentment.

* BigShutUp: Caddy delivers one to [[Franchise/TheSmurfs Brainy]] when he gets annoyed with how Brainy narrates everything you do in the menus in ''3, 2, 1, Smurf''.
** He also delivers one to [[WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}} Tommy]] in "Totally Fanny" after the game begins to irritate him more and more.

* BookEnds: The ''VideoGame/SpyroEnterTheDragonfly'' review begins and ends with Caddy digging in his garden.

* GagBoobs: [[spoiler: Scarfulhu]] grows some in the intro of the ''{{Series/VIP}}'' review, after mentioning Pamela Anderson.

** Ever since ''The last episode ever...'', he uses the word "[[RougeAnglesOfSatin breats]]" to refer to [[GagBoobs absurdly large breasts]].

* NoPronunciationGuide: Has this problem in the "Klonoa: I Can't Pronounce This Game" review, struggling with "Klonoa" and "Huepow".

** During the review, he cycles between each pronunciation of "Klonoa".

** Also surprisingly, Crash Bandicoot himself! Or at least his ''Skylanders: the Animated Series'' version. The ''Skylanders'' version is so [[AdaptationalIntelligence out of character]] to Caddicurus that he doesn't even consider him to be Crash Bandicoot.

* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: During the introduction of his [[UsefulNotes/{{Kinect}} Kinect games]] review, he lists some events that happened in 2010, namely, the [=BP=] oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, an Irish boy wrongly accused of stealing €7,500 worth of bags of chips, Creator/MelGibson leaving a voicemail filled with racial slurs, and Microsoft releasing the Kinect for the Xbox 360.

In August 2022, Caddy finally surpassed the 1 million subscriber milestone, much to the exultation of his fans. Caddy made a promise ages ago that he would make a retrospective of the ''VideoGame/SpyroTheDragon'' trilogy as his 1 million subscriber special, which was initially promised as three videos covering each game in the trilogy. Just before Christmas 2022, he released the milestone video, covering ''every Spyro game ever made'' and featuring over 60 cameos of Caddy's Youtuber friends.

** After finding ''The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning'' incredibly bland and its sequel ''The Eternal Night'' very frustrating due to its spike in difficulty, he was pleasantly surprised by ''Dawn of the Dragon'' for greatly refining the combat system, introducing more exploration mechanics, and even letting him freely fly in many areas.

** Starting from 2020 onwards, at the start of his first video of the year, expect an annual skit of him... [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext being half naked while wandering and screeching around like a maniac]].

These videos are filled with absurdist humor with dashes of influence from the likes of Creator/MontyPython and ''Series/MrShow'', flabbergasted reactions and eventful hunts trying to aquire some of the bizzare games needed for the episode, outside shots in creepy costumes that make you question why his neighbors haven't called the cops and, of course, a demonic kite with fingers and shoes who spontaneously appears to give out sponsorship information. All of this is the packaging of what are quick-paced reviews covering games ranging from commonly known to so obscure they only work on specific cell phone models from 2004.

Historically, his channel had tons of random secondary shows and miscellaneous projects. The channel, at one point, offered six different shows. Caddicarus (the main reviews), Top 10 Lists (self explanatory), Current Quickies ([[MotorMouth rapid-fire]] modern game reviews), Caddy's Retrospectives (Caddy's opinions on the first three games of a franchise), Tinker Time (whatever Caddy feels like reviewing at the time), and Drive Thru Review (quick, casual reviews under three minutes with very little editing). In 2013, he opened a second channel called Caddy's Conundrums (now Caddy Plays) where he uploads videos that wouldn't fit on his main channel. Drive Thru Review started on Caddy's Conundrums and has since been moved to the main channel, while Puppicarus started on the main channel and has since been moved to Caddy's Conundrums. In 2017, Caddicarus announced he would replace Current Quickies with a new show called Caddy. Similarly, in May 2017, his Film Fridays series (in hiatus for three months) became Cinemaggots.

However, the sponsored segments are left out in the complete season collections and the Patreon versions of the videos. Starting in 2021, he added a new character that helps with the plugs, aptly named Spons. In his "making-of" video, Caddy even clarifies that it's written into any sponsor's contract that Spons will be the one doing the ad-plug, which the sponsor must agree to in order for the ad to go in. Caddy admits "that kite has more power than you can possibly imagine".

* NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer: Caddy has to put one on a collection of clips from ''Dalmatians 3'' that have no sound. "I didn't make this up. Seriously."

* IntentionalEngrishForFunny: He works a subtle one into his ''VideoGame/VibRibbon'' review. Upon stating that the game's music was made by the Japanese group Laugh and Peace, he briefly shows an obvious machine translation of their article on the Japanese-language Wiki/{{Wikipedia}}, which has such gems as "In this item, Music producer I am describes the unit."

** One of the games he reviews in ''The Unholy World of Jesus Games'', ''The You Testament'', has loading screens that showcase spiritual quotes from prominent people like UsefulNotes/MahatmaGandhi, UsefulNotes/TheProphetMuhammad, Music/PharrellWilliams, Music/JayZ, Creator/BruceLee, Creator/OprahWinfrey, Music/JimiHendrix, [[Franchise/StarWars Obi-Wan Kenobi]], Music/TupacShakur, Music/KanyeWest, Music/{{Eminem}} and... '''UsefulNotes/OsamaBinLaden'''. That last one naturally causes Caddy to react in complete bewilderment.

* TakeAThirdOption: Near the end of his ''Destruction Derby 2'' review, Caddy feels that the game wasn't quite good enough to be salvaged, yet not terrible enough to be slaughtered. Thus, the "slauvage" was born. ''Quack Attack'', ''The Grinch'', ''Rosco [=McQueen=]'', ''VideoGame/JawsUnleashed'', ''VideoGame/Rayman1'', ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory Racer'', and ''VideoGame/CrashBandicootTheWrathOfCortex'' got the slauvage as well. He also tried to slauvage ''The Great Escape'' for being SoBadItsGood[[invoked]], but the game's brokenness had him laughing too hard to carry on with it.

* ThatRemindsMeOfASong: Subverted in his TheGrinch Review, when he notes that the episode is ending on a surprisingly happy note, and then decides to sing [[Film/TheMuppetChristmasCarol Thankful Heart]]... but only gets to sing the first two lines before ending abruptly due to copyright reasons.

Jim Caddick, better known by the pen name "Caddicarus", is a British Website/YouTube personality who hosts a VideoReviewShow that reviews just about anything video-game related you can think of, though there is a strong affinity in video games from and related to the UsefulNotes/PlayStation era of gaming. While he originally uploaded in-depth reviews of single games on a usually weekly basis, he switched to his current format of longer videos covering several different games of a similar category in 2020, which are the videos he is best known for.
