''Adventures in Jedi School'' is a three-part miniseries made by Website/{{Cracked}} based off of the ''Franchise/StarWars'' franchise.

It has been many years since Luke Skywalker and the Rebellion had won out against The Empire and peace reigns throughout the Galaxy. The Jedi Order has been rebuilt and now padawan are learning how to be Jedi in schools throughout the galaxy. In one such school, Temple Academy, Jank Sunmooner is starting his first year training to be a Jedi. There he meets future Empress Sessa, and together they stumble upon a conspiracy that may bring balance to the Force.

Though it might not.

!!''Adventures in Jedi School'' contains examples of:
* AcademyOfAdventure: Subverted. Jedi School sounds like it could be awesome, but most of its curriculum seems to be either basic gen-ed classes or about how to build and maintain a lightsaber. You don't even get to actually ''use'' the damn thing until at least ''22'' years in.
--> '''Master Anki Mudmud:''' The rest of the training is mostly running through the woods and stuff with me on your back and junk...
* AmbitionIsEvil: [[spoiler:Master Mudmud and Villaine sent Randy to assassinate Principal Eval and to procure Sessa, the former so that Mudmud would become the new Headmaster, while the later so that Villaine could have force powers and the two could rule together as brother and sister.]]
* BoringButPractical: Apparently, after the original Star War, everyone got over their FantasticRacism of droids and went back to using them to pilot fighter-ships. The big climactic battle against the bad guys happens entirely in the background.
* CardCarryingJerkass: Randy Carmesian openly identifies as a jerk, confirming that while you don't have to be pure evil to wield the Dark Side, you don't have to be a NiceGuy to wield the Light Side.
* TheChainsOfCommanding: When confronted about his alleged plans to conqueror the galaxy, Evol dashes that theory immediately, pointing out that he's stressed enough managing one lousy school and he doesn't want the stress of anything bigger to age him faster.
* DarkIsNotEvil: A case is made that you don't necessarily have to be evil to wield The Dark Side of the Force. Principle Eval -- who is very obviously Sith -- doesn't do anything actually evil, and demonstrates that the Dark Side can have neutral applications, like using Force-Lightning to make a campfire.
* EvilIsHammy: [[spoiler:When it's revealed that Master Mudmud and Villaine are evil at the end of episode 2, Mudmud hams it up as his sister tried giving him intel.]]
* ForbiddenChekhovsGun: In the first episode, Master Mudmud emphasizes how dangerous lightsabers can be, with poorly-built lightsabers capable of exploding. [[spoiler:In the second episode, Randy shows off his own personally made "rush-job" lightsaber, which of course explodes and eviscerates him on the spot.]]
* GenderRestrictedAbility: It's explained that the reason why the Jedi Order is such a sausage fest is that women lack the proper enzymes for midi-chlorians to form, making it literally a biological impossibility for women to wield the Force and become Jedi. [[spoiler:Its revealed that Princess Sessa is a woman who has a genetic anomaly that makes her the only woman who can wield the Force, Master Anki Mudmud planning on harvesting her DNA so that his sister Villaine can have Force-powers like him.]]
* IncestSubtext: Anki and Villiane (who are brother and sister) partake in tongue-touching.
* {{Nepotism}}: The only way a woman has any chance of becoming a Jedi Knight is when they are in some way related to a male Jedi already in it, citing Princess Leia and Mara (Luke Skywalker's sister and step-daughter) and Villiane (who's the teacher's sister).
* PuttingThePalInPrincipal: While Principal Eval looks like he would be an EvilPrincipal, that's just a RedHerring. He's actually content with his job as Principal of Jedi school and was about to try and convince Jank and Sessa to join the school's dueling team before Randy Carmesian shows up and kills him.
* OpeningScroll: This being an AffectionateParody of ''Star Wars'', every episode opens with its own version of its iconic text-scrolls. The first episode has it on a chalk-board, the second episode has Jank going through a Mid-Term Exam, and episode three on Randy's disembodied arm.
* RedHerring: Meaners Badso has all the marks of an ObviousJudas; he has red eyes, his casual language is threatening, he seems to know the Dark Side of the Force same as the Principal, he keeps a red lightsaber, not to mention his ObviouslyEvil name. He never actually gets around to doing anything evil, and its Randy Carmesian who turns out to be one of the bad guys.
* ShoutOut: In the first episode, Jank gives an off-the-cuff speech that sounds like a butchered rendition of the ComicBook/GreenLantern Oath.
