Warden's Fall is a Machinima series set in the Franchise/DragonAge universe and explaining the BackStory of Kristoff, a Character Grey Warden character from VideoGame/DragonAgeOriginsAwakening.

The original five episodes have been uploaded to Website/YouTube in May 2010 but are no longer available. The story is watchable in its entirety, however, at the Riot Films channelRiot Films is a studio label owned by Jason Choi, who worked on the series as its project and cinematography lead.

!!Warden's Fall provides examples of:

* AdaptationExpansion: Aside from his wife, the backstory of Kristoff was left mostly vague in Awakening. Here we discover that he had a son who died during a Darkspawn raid, presumably prompting him to join the Wardens.
* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: .
* CutShort: The series ends on episode 5, never finishing its arc.
* ForegoneConclusion: The end of episode 5 has Kristoff leave to investigate the Blackmarsh, which players of Awakening will know is the location where he's killed at the hands of the First, shortly before the Warden-Commander arrived on the scene.
* HumanoidAbomination: The Mother.
* Jerkass: Kristoff. He refuses to let his mage companion heal some surviving villagers and then interrupts his spellcasting by knocking him to the ground. It says something that a Fade Spirit possessing his corpse is a nicer person than him.
* ShaggyDogStory: Due to the ForegoneConclusion of Kristoff's death in Awakening, although Justice does attempt to provide his wife with some closure, despite her obvious dislike of having him walk around in Kristoff's corpse.
