Added DiffLines:

''The Stalker'' (''The Sims 2'') is a collection of six horror movies created by user dan10093. It is made using ''VideoGame/TheSims2'' and each film is released in different parts (the exact amount of parts varies, though around ten is the average). It is heavily inspired by ''Film/{{Scream|1996}}'', however it also contains elements from ''Film/IKnowWhatYouDidLastSummer'' and ''Franchise/{{Halloween}}''. The films were originally going to end at [[TrilogyCreep the third sequel, but more or less continued on three movies]]. The series' main character is [[FinalGirl Katie Barcley]], a young woman who is continuously mentally and physically attacked by an unknown person in a white and black ninja suit, usually using those who are important to her. This method has also been used to torment Lori Yates, one of the survivors of the third film. As of 2013, five movies have been finished with the 6th and final film in production (though due to technical problems, the future of the series is up in the air at this stage).

[[folder: Tropes used in all films]]

%% * ActionGirl / ActionSurvivor: Katie becomes this as the series goes on. Lori in the third movie onwards is also an example of this.
* AnimationBump: The animations (and death sequences) become noticeably more sophisticated as the series goes on, which is impressive considering the whole thing is made with ''The Sims 2'' (and a heap of mods).
AnyoneCanDie: Unless your name is Katie Barcley, there's no guarantee you're making it out alive (and in the first film, Katie herself wasn't safe due to [[DecoyProtagonist Jen]] appearing to be the main protagonist).
%% * AttentionWhore: Usually one of the antagonist's motives is ether stealing or getting fame.
%% * AxCrazy: The Stalkers.
%% * BigBadDuumvirate: The killers almost always work in pairs (or more!).
%% * BigScrewedUpFamily: The Yates family and to a lesser extent the Barcleys.
* BittersweetEnding: Pretty much all the endings. Although someone lives and the killer is always apprehended, there's usually a high body count. The only exception is ''The Stalker 5'', which ends on a {{Cliffhanger}} involving [[spoiler: the unidentified Stalkers kidnapping Lori and Katie and Annie being framed for the killings]].
%% * BlackEyesOfEvil: The killer's eyes in the suit.
%% * BrokenBird: Our two protagonists, respectively.
%% * CatScare: Frequently used.
%% * DeathBySex: Occasionally used, though not nearly as common as it usually in in slashers, and it's sometimes averted.
* EveryoneIsASuspect: No one is above suspicion. Even people who appear on-screen with the Stalker, due to the fact there tends to be more than one killer. In the fifth film, [[TheProtagonist Katie]] herself is a suspect.
%% * EvilPhone / HarassingPhoneCall: The killer's most famous move is calling the victim's numbers and not saying anything.
%% * {{Expy}}: Katie is a mixture of both Sidney Prescott and Laurie Strode.
%% * {{Fanservice}}: Yep, in a film series made with ''The Sims 2''.
%% * FinalGirl: Katie in pretty much all the films. Lori in both ''The Stalker 3'' and ''4''.
%% * FreudianExcuse: There are many.
* KickTheSonOfABitch: If there's more than one killer, there's a chance one of them will off their accomplice.
%% * PsychoKnifeNut: The killers all seem to use knives
* LoveInterest: Adam to Katie in the original and the sequel and Steven in ''The Stalker 3''. Tim to Lori and Brendan to Holly in ''The Stalker 3'' [[spoiler: and Brendan to Lori in ''The Stalker 4'']].
%% * OffscreenTeleportation: The killers are fond of doing this.
%% * SerialKiller: The Stalkers.
%% * SuddenSequelDeathSyndrome: Unless, of course your name is ether Katie Barcley or Lori Yates, there's a 50/50 chance you'll survive.
%% * {{Stalker with|ACrush}}/[[StalkerWithoutACrush Without a Crush]]: Duh!
%% * TeensAreMonsters: Some of the killers turn out to be teens.

[[folder: Tropes used in ''The Stalker'']]
%% * ActionSurvivor: Katie and Adam.
* AdultsAreUseless: Then again, we only see them for about one minute in the entire movie. [[spoiler: The only adult who appears prominently turns out to be one of the killers]].
%% * BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler: Adam, who shoots Richard before he can kill Katie.]]
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: Kris is the Blonde, Jen and Katie are the Brunette, and Alex is the Redhead.
%% * BoundAndGagged: Well, replace "gagged" with "blindfolded".
%% * BrokenBird: Alex, after Kris' death due to them being best friends.
%% * ChildByRape: [[spoiler: Katie. This is revealed by her father.]]
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Jason doesn't even appear for two seconds, and we already see his horrific demise (he was [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe ripped in half]] offscreen). [[spoiler: Jen's death ends with her being struck in the skull with a meat cleaver.]]
* DamselOutOfDistress: Katie, although [[spoiler: Adam]] has to save her in the climax (though not from lack of trying).
* DangerTakesABackseat:[[spoiler: Alex's death only shows the killer staring at her from behind the backseat before she is killed offscreen.]]
%% * DeathBySex: Averted, actually. [[spoiler: Katie and Adam have sex before the massacre and are the only survivors]].
%% * DecoyProtagonist: Jen. Many people were greatly surprised that [[spoiler: she was killed. And quite brutally, I might add]].
%% * DumbBlonde: Kris is described as this by the creator. We see enough evidence in the opening.

%% * EtTuBrute?: Katie is understandably shocked by [[spoiler: Tom and her dad's betrayal.]]
%% * {{Fainting}}: Jen faints as a side-effect of her spiked drink.
%% * FinalGirl: Katie, [[spoiler: although she's not the only survivor.]]
* FreudianExcuse: [[spoiler: The reason Richard's after Katie is because she was a ChildByRape. Tom's reason is because [[LoveMakesYouEvil he's obsessively in love with her]].]]
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Adam is slashed in the back with a meat cleaver by [[spoiler: Tom, however he survives. Jen was also killed via cleaver to the head]].
* INeverSaidItWasPoison: Katie figures out [[spoiler: Richard]] is the killer when he mentions exactly how [[spoiler: Jen]] was killed, without Katie having having told him first.
%% * KillTheCutie: [[spoiler: Poor Jen.]]
%% * LoveMakesYouEvil:[[spoiler: Tom's motive]]
* MissingMom: Katie's mother is gone on a business trip with her sister, Holly. She does appear in a deleted scene though.
%% * MurderTheHypotenuse: Possibly why [[spoiler: Tom murdered Jen and definitely why he tries to kill Adam.]]
%% * NiceGirl: Jen.
%% * OffingTheOffspring: [[spoiler: Richard's motive.]]
%% * OfficialCouple: Jen and Tom. Katie and Adam. Kris and Jason.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: We really have to give some credit to the killers: Jason's death was both [[{{Gorn}} disturbing]] yet fascinating. They also manage to murder '''everyone''' at the party in '''one''' night! Wow.
%% * ParentalBetrayal: [[spoiler: Richard Barcley to his daughter Katie.]]
%% * PeekABangs: Alex.
* PeekABooCorpse: Jason's body is placed in front of Kris' door in the opening. The Stalker hides the dead party-goers bodies in the garage. [[spoiler: Katie also finds Jen's body in the upstairs bathroom.]]
* TooDumbToLive: What does Kris do when she see's Jason's dead body? Runs upstairs, doesn't even bother to stop and call the police, and the place she hides? An open balcony that ultimately leads to her death and instead of getting up, crawls around on the ground. Nice escape plan, honey.
%% * YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: [[spoiler: Richard kills Tom fully knowing his plan won't work.]]
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Alex. [[spoiler: Her death]] is only mentioned twice, and even then it's not officially clear, and she's not even mentioned again for the rest of the movie.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: [[spoiler: Richard. He only wants to live a peaceful life with his wife and daughter. The way he [[OffingTheOffspring plans to do it]] however is out of the question.]]
