** Of the main heroic trio, N despite what he is is a mellow DoggedNiceGuy to just about everyone (Nice); Uzi is a strong JerkWithAHeartOfGold (Inbetween); and V is a lot more sadistic and somewhat less altruistic than Uzi (Mean).
** This also applies to the Disassembly Drone trio in the pilot. N is the least sadistic and mellowest of the three by a huge margin (Nice). J, though not without positive qualities in the later episode, is consistently portrayed as the hardest to redeem of the trio as well as despising N the most (Mean). V, though a lot more AxCrazy and aloof than N, shows a loyal and protective side towards him in later episodes, and she absolutely is not a willing ally of the Absolute Solver; both of which are positive traits that J has not yet exhibited (Inbetween).

* InYourNatureToDestroyYourselves: As noted by Uzi in the series' opening, the Worker Drones didn't rise up and kill all humans... mostly because they took care of that just fine by themselves, when they caused a core collapse which wiped out all non-mechanical life on Copper 9. Trope if not completely Trope as revelations in later episodes pertaining to the Absolute Solver reveal that the colonists' incompetence didn't cause the core collapse at all, [[spoiler:although it's still ambiguous if the Solver which has been exterminating the human race is manmade in origin]].

*** "Dead End" references Film/JurassicPark, being placed in an office area and having the Monsters Of The Week be Raptor drones. Additionally, Alice and Beau's scenes with them inflicting ColdBloodedTorture on the cast is also reminiscent of the Film/Hostel series. The locked security room complete with security cameras is similar to Franchise/FiveNightsAtFreddys.

*** "Pilot" brings to mind , most obviously because the Disassembly Drones are a XenomorphXerox, with the way they attack Outpost 3 being similar to the xenomorph's assault on the LV-426 colony. Uzi's creation of the Railgun to kill the Disassembly Drones is similar to Ripley fusing two different weapons together for maximum xenomorph slaughter. Though unlike the xenomorphs who only had to deal with the one android, Bishop, the Disassembly Drones aren't trying to kill one humanoid machine, but potentially thousands.

* LikeCannotCutLike: The only thing thing that the Absolute Solver powers does not affect is a drone who is also empowered by the Absolute Solver. This is first seen in "The Promening" when Doll tries to attack Uzi, only to get the error message [like object non-interactive]. This happens again seen when Doll, and then Uzi, are fighting
