* Determinator: Although E. Andleway has a severe leg injury that causes him to leave a trail of blood wherever he walks and is usually forced to support himself with a rock he uses like a staff, he manages to remain with the expedition group without showing any signs of possibly fainting once. He even discards his rock after Galfriche offers his child’s running shoes, eager to retrieve Elder Bouchemhan from the tree.

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Most of the characters who are not from the continuous story arcs never appear again after making only one appearance. Likewise, the characters featured in said continuous story arcs also never appear again after the last episode of the arc. The only notable exception is Thomas, who returns in the eleventh episode after debuting in the third episode.

Added DiffLines:

* NoPlotNoProblem: In the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth episodes, the narrator gets usurped by Do Good. Aside from Do Good’s stories, the episodes are otherwise plotless, and Do Good’s motives for usurpation are never explained.
* ReportsOfMyDeathWereGreatlyExaggerated: In the second episode, Mr. Walker finds a “corpse” lying in the mud… which turns out to be a perfectly okay living person lying in the mud to cure his bad skin.
