* SilenceIsGolden: No dialogue at all in the short, though considering the minimalist story, it's not like it's needed.

!!''Fresh Guacamole'' provides the following tropes:
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: The short is named after the dip that the man is preparing throughout.
* MinimalistCast: The only character in the entire short is PES himself, and even then, only his hands can be seen.
* NoPlotNoProblem: The short doesn't have a plot other than a man making guacamole, and it's instead a showcase of PES' pixilation style.
* StopMotion: The entire film is made using pixilation, with PES' hands moving across the screen to grab, cut up and serve the different ingredients. Items also transform into other items between frames, such as a Christmas light being cut up into ''TabletopGame/{{Monopoly}}'' houses.
* VisualPun: Most of the items used to make the guacamole are look-alikes, but some puns are thrown in too.
** When the baseball (with resembles an onion) and pincushion (a tomato) are cut, they turn into dice. They are literally being diced.
** The guacamole is served with a side of chips. No, not potato chips; poker chips.
