lava lamp was revived sometime between episodes 12-13 according to the news ticker at the bottom, though it definitely hurt their career to be gone for 5 years due to that whole Dying Thing. who IS left to an uncertain fate is the man who egged a house. it makes more sense with this series' context...

* AllThereInTheManual: Well, All There In The Rook Explanation Video; while never overtly stated in the show itself, the series has an ongoing side plot about the mystery of the original Brawl of the Objects, which--in of itself--has a side-plot of Controlly's attempts to capitalize on the myth and strike it rich. Much of this was revealed in the Rook Explanation Video, but the series itself indirectly references the entire story the whole time.

* KilledOffForReal: Three characters die but aren't recovered.
** Lava Lamp shatters from Pizza's awful singing in "BOTO's Next Star."

recovered; in "BOTO's Next Star."addition, one meets an uncertain fate.

Added DiffLines:

** In addition, in Episode 13, the Rock Monster is last seen drowning in a mountain of newborn chickens. It's mostly taken as a joke, implying he didn't actually die in it, but also nothing says he made it out, leaving him to UncertainDoom at best.

Once, the creator of the show, [=Anko6theAnimator=], was revealed to be diagnosed with cancer on his Website/DeviantArt account, thus being unable to animate BOTO as normally as he did before. Luckily, he then announced that he was completely cured of Burkitt's lymphoma, the cancer he was diagnosed with, and was sent home in May 5, 2016. He could now draw and animate like how he used to be, and hopefully that included the revival of BOTO, after its two years of inactivity. However, only two more episodes were made. It is currently going to receive a DenouementEpisode.
