Think about it. Warbot wants to live a normal life, but he is too big and immobile to do so. Further complicating this is the fact that he can't communicate normally. As a result, he's seen as an annoyance and is kept from doing things everyone should be able to do. It's actually brilliant.

Not to be outdone, Weyland follows suit and attempts to make better ones.
