Legato of ''Stampede'''s power is outright stated to work differently from how the manga did it. Controlling people and things with hand movements could imply his arm has been replaced with a [[GravityMaster gravity Plant's]], but with past Legato's hatred of humans and adoration for Knives he may not have stopped at one arm. Exchanging limbs and organs for those harvested from Plants' to the point of being stitched up like FrankensteinsMonster further makes him a {{foil}} to Vash, whose place in Knives' heart Legato wants to take.

His manga backstory as a child Vash knew who turned to evil has been given to [[spoiler:Monev]], plus it makes more sense for a remnant of the spacefaring age to have the super tech that animates the puppets. Instead of being driven mad by his lover's death and keeping her preserved body is a coffin, Leonof's lover was in prolonged cold sleep while Leonof grew old. Despairing this growing age gap, Leonof grew to resent Vash's eternal youth, and tried to replicate it with lifelike puppets.

Hence why Knives resorts to emotional abuse, convincing Vash that he's weaker. Knives doesn't have the raw strength to overcome his will any other way. On top of that, despite what Conrad and Knives believe, [[spoiler:Vash is closer to being the "perfect" Plant both in abilities and psychology, which is why ''he's'' capable of healing the dependent Plants and instinctively knew their song. His powers developed after Nai's did because they're so much greater than Nai's. If Knives attempts to meld with Vash in future, it will be motivated by yearning for that connection, and failure will drive him to even more drastic measures]].

Hoppered is motivated to kill Vash as a survivor of the July incident. Why introduce a new face when there's already a July-based antagonist? The loss of the city would weigh heavily on a military police captain charged with protecting it, and it's foreseeable that one portrayed as unhinged to begin with who failed to catch Vash twice would go to extreme lengths like body augmentations for revenge. Alternatively, Hoppered will be the faceless officer who shot Vash.

In the entire franchise, the twins are the only known male Plants, Independent or otherwise. A Plant researcher, possibly one with the Earth Federation, will explain why male Plants are virtually unheard of and what their specific function is.

Lieutenant Chronica's Bible counterpart is most likely the ArchangelMichael. Add one or two new characters to her squad, plus the preexisting Domina, and there will be counterparts for [[ArchangelGabriel Gabriel]], [[ArchangelRaphael Raphael]], and [[ArchangelUriel Uriel]].

This would replace Legato's execution and the aftermath. When Knives outdoes himself in disregard for life, Vash will snap and try to kill his brother. The miracle serum used by Conrad's creations is implied to be made from Plant cells, if not from Knives himself. Thanks to Wolfwood's rare aptitude for it, continued use of the serum will eventually mutate his body and give him some Plant-like abilities. This could lead to his death when he uses a DangerousForbiddenTechnique.

In the manga, Midvalley wanted to betray the Gung-ho Guns, knowing their only retirement plan was in the grave. If ''Stampede'' keeps this motivation, the Hornfreak will offer to sell the Eye of Michael's secrets to Vash in return for help escaping Legato.
