The Paw's whole deal is to teach people YouCantFightFate. Mr. White's last wish, whatever the wording (all we know is that it undid "I wish our boy alive again"), was basically "I accept fate and our concequences of trying to change it"; he learned that lesson, so that wish was granted without any strings attached.
