The episode "Golden Age" introduces us to Captain Shuggazoom, a protector of the city who was the predecessor to the Hyperforce and the Alchemist's best friend. We learn in that episode that the incident that turned the Alchemist into the Skeleton King happened ''decades'' before Chiro was even born, so the chances of him being Chiro's father are rather slim. Captain Shuggazoom, on the other hand, is a different story. His civilian identity, Clayton Carrington, bears a bit of a resemblance to Chiro. And given Clayton's record of being in his own words, "a millionaire playboy", who's to say one of his many dates didn't result in a pregnancy that led to the birth of one of Chiro's parents?

Skeleton King ''was'' rewarding her for bringing him back. But as he is now an agent of death, he won't have fully living servants. Had the series continued, he would have used his magic to bring Valina's soul back in a new undead or ghostly form so she can better serve to make the universe his tomb.

[[WMG: Chiro is not Skeleton King's son, but Captain Shuggazoom's grandson]]
