Coming from a Chinese demon family, it would make sense if he had a Chinese name. However, whether due to inexperience with English at the time, a need to stand out among his family members, or JustForPun, he picked up "Drago" as his go-to nickname, and it stuck. Note how he introduces himself in his debut episode as, "Please, call me Drago." He might even think cracking jokes and bad puns makes him intimidating, considering how often he uses them.

[[WMG: There was a way for the Demon Sorcerers to all use [[Recap/JackieChanAdventuresS2E26TheEighthDoor the eighth door]] to escape.]]
During the episode we're told that only ''one'' can through each portal. But at the start of Jade goes with Bai Tza to the Netherworld, which means ''two'' went through a portal. Therefore with enough time Shendu ''might have found the sort of spell he bluffed about.

Added DiffLines:

* Other potential evidence of a once-friendly relationship is that the two have a very similar fighting style (indicating they may have trained together), Drago is more familiar with modern slang, technology, and ideas than he should be (indicating that he might have had casual contact with a normal young person), Drago knows Jade's weakness for her family and friends very well, and Jade's teasing is unusually good at getting under his skin.

**Tis may be my imagination but Drago seems to like grabbing Jade from behind a lot...

*** Drago's quote, "Like old times," to Future!Jade can be interpreted in a lot of different ways but her cold dismissal of these memories imply to me that Drago is referring to something more... friendly than just enemies fighting.

** To further this theory, Drago could have felt like Jade somehow betrayed him, resulting in his very personal grudge. His quote, "I should be done with you now and forever!" sounds like Drago is trying to get over some unresolved feelings and memories about Jade.

Asexuality is now a disambiguation page.

But of course, this is just wild speculation with no basis in any real evidence. One could alternately argue that Uncle is {{asexual}}, and that he considered antiques and sorcery to be more important than romance and sexuality. Or, Uncle could simply just be a [[NerdsAreVirgins straight nerd who was always unlucky with the opposite sex]].

Bavaria. It shouldn't/wouldn't have been so easy for him to just don one that Armor of the Immortals - you'd think an artifact like that would have an Only For the Worthy clause or something.

Obviously, with this new age a new set of "Immortals" had been chosen to finish the job of their predecessors.

[[WMG: Jackie is this world's (reluctant) Indiana Jones.]]
He's an Archeologist, but is always being recruited by higher powers to go on crazy adventures that should be far out of his scope.
Is always saying things "Belong in a museum!"
Has first hand handled more than one Holy Artifact/ Ancient Power
Narrowly escapes death and disaster by the skin of his teeth all of the time
If it wasn't a kids show he would have totally had a lot more Love Interests in Show-

* Interestingly enough, the Chinese dub Drago is called 'Xiaolong', which means 'small dragon'.

[[WMG: The Chans/the heroes are related to or have been blessed by the Eight Immortals.]]
As Ratso so eloquently puts it in S1 Ep5 after watching Jackie narrowly escape death by running along the top of a train falling off the edge of a cliff - "No way he's human".

Watching the series, it's made very obvious very quickly that it's a World of Adventure where even the most mundane people can find magical Oni masks or cursed objects, and almost everyone has some basic martial arts training. But even so, Jackie and his group are a big cut above. Specially, handling hoard after hoard of demon scum with nary a scratch. And with only the most necessary of spells to aid them. Jackie has beat DEMON sorcerers up with no magic or ox talisman before and even Jade - A CHILD - has managed to kick ass before even when not using something.

But all of this isn't just because they're *cough* the stars of the show but because they have a connection to the Eight Immortals from long ago. It wasn't coincidence that Jackie stumbled upon that talisman that started it all in
Bavaria. It shouldn't/wouldn't have been so easy for him to just don one that Armor of the Immortals - you'd think an artifact like that would have an Only For the Worthy clause or something.
