Despite being scrapped from the first game due to Oswald's role being changed, the Storm Blot still lives on through being mentioned by A.B.E during ''Power of Two'', though it's also possible he was only referring to the Blot from the first game. If the Storm Blot was planned to appear again, he could be what the Petes were planning in Epic Mickey 2's post credits scene where they, along with a repentant Prescott, will find a way to corrupt Oswald by making a remnant of the Shadow Blot attach to him, creating a relationship between them similar to [[VideoGame/MarvelsSpiderMan2 Harry Osborn and Venom]] that slowly turns Oswald into a monster that Mickey has to stop. But even when Mickey succeeds in saving Oswald, the Storm Blot will still have gained enough power to become a threat to both [[SaveBothWorlds the Wasteland and the Cartoon World]].
