* I hope Creator/KevinSmith is a Troper, because this would be the perfect premise for a sequel.
** Wait, wait.... [[CompletelyMissingThePoint there's millions of angels who exist for the exact occasion that God's been kidnapped while playing ski-ball and the stars of Good Will Hunting go on a killing spree while trying to get back into heaven which will destroy everything everywhere forever?]]

** In ''[[Film/JayandSilentBobReboot Jay and Silent Bob Reboot]]'', Loki explains that God let him back in (and how he looks, it indicates he was an Angel again, given his hoodie). So, apparently she forgave him. As for Bartleby, [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse nothing is mentioned of him]].

* I'm not sure. Some of them do work - Mr Ray's oriental rug would be ConspicuousConsumption, i.e. Gluttony, but the others are less obvious. Mr Brace disowning his gay son could be Wrath in its sense of hatred or Pride in the sense of contempt. Mr Holtzman's toxic Mooby dolls could be Greed for cutting costs or Sloth for not doing the proper work. Mr Bergman cheating on his wife could be Envy in terms of coveting his neighbour's wife? Mr Newman could be Sloth for taking an easy way out with his girlfriend, making Holtzman Greed? Mr Barker and Mr Whitman would both seem to be Lust though, unless what Whitman did to his son was violent instead of sexual and thus Wrath... it is possible he killed his son, though whether that was the intention is debatable.

* Bethany originally loses her faith when her mother tries to comfort her after finding out that Bethany can never conceive a child. However, if Bethany had a child then her presumably preschool to kindergarten aged child would have been the last scion during the events of this movie. "God has a plan.", indeed.
