* CurbStompBattle: Mashiro vs. Naomi.

* DoubleStandardAbuseFemaleOnMale: Yuki and other girls repeatedly delivers bodily harm to Masaki without any consequences. But when Masaki slaps Ao's hand away to sever his previous ties with her, half of the school is out for his blood because he "attacked" her.

* ChekhovsGun: This chapter isn't the first time Mayoi's inventions come in handy.

* ContinuityNod: It turns out that Mayori's methods for being able to harm a god (tested in May) are why Shiro loses her powers.

The petite novels were originally released one at a time for PC over the course of 2007 but the entire series became available in a complete package for the Nintendo3DS near the end of 2015 as ''Petit Novel Series: Harvest December''.

* WhatTheHellHero: Masaki gives one to Sanae when he finds she hasn't done her part in their Valentine's Day plan.
** Sakura to Kouhei during August as his indecisiveness in continuing to be a super nice guy to all three of his potential girlfriends without choosing one is hurting them as much as it is him.
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: Shiro complains that the worst part of being a god is that new experiences that fascinate her are few and far between these days. It's also one of the reasons why she takes a husband every 100 years.
* WorthyOpponent: Naomi declares Yuki as one during their sparring match in August.
* YamatoNadeshiko: Yuki in her moments of normality.
* {{Yandere}}: Good grief, Yuki!
* YouKilledMyFather: Mayoi's reason for seeking out a way to kill Shiro, even if it meant leaving Madoi alone for a hundred years.

* ZanyScheme: Masaki's plan to keep the two juniors who like Kouhei away from him on Valentine's Day so Sanae can give him chocolates first. And it works!

** Masaki watches his mom play a game where "[[VideoGame/SuperMarioKart a dinosaur-like creature on a cart sped away on a race course]]."
** Kouhei states that getting invited into the women's bath is harder to achieve than "[[Manga/DragonBall collecting seven balls with stars in them]]."
** Mami is complaining that the character in the game she's playing can't jump and needs to take lessons from "[[VideoGame/SuperMarioBros that plumber who grows big by eating mushrooms]]."
** The "Tagami God-Busters" group set up during July is one to both ''Film/GhostBusters'' and SuperSentai.
* ShotgunWedding: The fate of the men seduced by the Towada women for the past 100 years. Yuki's father is very happy that Masaki didn't fall into the same trap he did.
* SkunkStripe: Ao has a blue one.
* SlasherSmile: Yuki sports one whenever she gets angry. It's even scarier when she draws Kubikirimaru at the same time.
* SliceOfLife: What the series boils down to, despite casual interaction with local gods on a regular basis. [[spoiler:Subverted during August.]]
* StalkerWithACrush: Ao most definitely qualifies after having followed Masaki to Tagami from Tokyo.
* StatuesqueStunner: Nuki Konno is a first-year in high school and stands at 188 cm. (6'2").
* StockholmSyndrome: Masaki is afraid he's succumbing to this with Yuki feeding him lunch every day come February.
* TakeAThirdOption: The first chapter's resolution: [[spoiler:Freeze to death while stranded in a shrine vs. utterly humiliating the daughter of the most powerful family in town? Masaki would rather run the risk of climbing down the mountain in the middle of a blizzard with Yuki on his back!]]

* TemptingFate: Shiro claiming that she isn't afraid of getting hit by a car as it wouldn't hurt her... right before she gets hit by a car.

** Sakura does this quite often when she tends to say just a little ''too'' much about wanting Kouhei to take her virginity.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Masaki gives Moyori an epic one during February when she tries to intimidate him using her family name. It basically boils down to, "I may have to be afraid of your family's influence, but there's no reason to be afraid of ''you''."
* ThemeNaming: The six major families of Rokushiki Island contain the Japanese numbers 1-6 within their names.

* NotWhatItLooksLike: Masaki ends up in a lot of these situations, especially when Yuki finds him in the mere presence of another girl.
* ObliviousToLove: Kouhei is as dense as a brick wall when it comes to realizing at least three different girls like him. [[ObfuscatingStupidity Though his self-narration later admits even he could figure it out after Valentine's Day]].
* OhCrap: Masaki's face in several CG images just scream this:
** One when Yuki gets angry that he has Moyori in a BridalCarry (to take her to the infirmary).
** When he finds that Nuki had snuck into his bed overnight.
** In the same chapter, after finding both Shiro and Ao in bed with him.
** Both Masaki and Yuki after Ao's BiTheWay declaration.
* OverTheShoulderCarry: Masaki switches to this after the BridalCarry above draws Yuki's wrath. Moyori wakes up during this, finds it degrading, and beats up on Masaki until he drops her, leading to a-
* PantyShot: Not shown to the reader, but Moyori's have a teddy bear on them.
* PrettyInPink: Mizuho's casual summer dress.
* ProperTightsWithASkirt: Mizuho in both her school uniform and casual winter clothes.
* RealityEnsues: Yuki quickly learns just how difficult it is to care for a baby during the March chapter and gives her a much-needed wake-up call on rushing in to have one of her own. [[spoiler:Doesn't stop her from wanting one eventually though.]]
** Also illustrated in April when the stress of everything Masaki is going through gives him an ulcer.
* Really700YearsOld: Both Madoi and [[spoiler:Ao Tagami]] are at least 100. Shiro is much older, but no exact age is given for her.
* RunningGag: When someone needs a favor from Shiro or Yuki, they promise to give Masaki to them in exchange despite his protests.
* {{Sarashi}}: Mashiro, Yuki's mother, wears these.
* SenseiChan: Masaki's mother, Mami, is a parental version of this. She looks younger than Masaki and most of the characters call her "Mami-chan." Even Yuki's mother calls her, "Mommy-chan."

* TakeOurWordForIt: The narration's description of "the amazingly beautiful and intelligent doctor with great legs," who insists on being called such near the end of the first chapter. The school nurse, Dr. Manaka, who is introduced later is a different character.

* WeWantOurJerkBack: Masaki's attitude regarding Shiro after she loses her powers in July.

* LadyLooksLikeADude: With her short hair and business suit, Mayoi looks more masculine than her brother.
* LargeHam: Mayoi, Madoi's older sister, whenever she's excited.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: Mizuho adopts Madoi as her little brother almost immediately and their interactions are ''adorable''!
* LittleMissSnarker: Kasumi whenever she takes on the form of a little girl.
* LoveEpiphany: Kouhei in June after rejecting Masaki's TakeAThirdOption idea. Doesn't stop him from being afraid of it though.
* ManipulativeBitch: "Never underestimate a Towada woman," is a very valid warning. It doesn't help that the Towada women often threaten to flaunt their power and risk people's livelihood over petty reasons.
** Ao is even worse as she can also get most people to take her side quite easily since they don't know her true nature like Masaki does.
* MilesGloriosus: Moyori Uesugi believes she can invoke her family name to get what she wants, until she's told that she herself has done nothing to contribute to the family's influence and therefore is just full of hot air.
* MistakenForPedophile: Happens to Masaki's dad, Takaki, when the group finds him wanting to take pictures of Kasumi's little girl form.[[note]]He wants to document the shape-shifting process to further his research on gods.[[/note]]
* MyRulesAreNotYourRules: Shiro invokes this when she shows no qualms about the idea of potentially [[spoiler:killing her own daughter]].
* NaginatasAreFeminine: Yuki's weapon of choice that she keeps close at all times.
* NamesTheSame: InUniverse, Shiro and her wolf guardian, Shirou.
** Sanae's mother's restaurant is named ''Sanae'' after her.
** On a last name basis, Sakura Tagami and Ao Tagami.
* NiceGuy: Despite his situation, Masaki wouldn't hurt a fly.
* NoExceptYes: Sanae and Mizuho are shocked that don't find any porn in his room. His internal thoughts state that of course he doesn't have any in his room because it's hidden behind the garage instead.
* NoIndoorVoice: Mayoi. When she shouts, everyone has to cover their ears in pain.
