* LeaveTheTwoLovebirdsAlone: At the end of Kahlua/Tequila's route in Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira, Tequila forces herself on top of Kazuya, right before Mimolette and Ranpha enter the room for a visit. They see the awkward position the couple is in, and quickly apologize for interrupting them before leaving, while Kazuya screams in terror begging them not to leave him alone at Tequila's mercy.

* CustomUniform: The Rune Angels wear similarly customized outfits on underneath of their uniforms.

* GoodColorsEvilColors: Anise notably wears a crop top, pants and sandals instead of the other Angels' skirts and either pumps (Ranpha and Forte) or boots (Kahlua's being high-heeled) as part of her uniform.

* MoralityDial: A variation is used with Nano-Nano and her fellow nanomachine colonies. Basically they have two specific modes for times of war and peace: repair and heal. This is so during war times they could be used to repair machinery and weapons, while during peace time they can be used to heal wounds. At the end of Eigou Kaiki, they're permanently set to heal mode so they'll never be used for war again.

* InMediasRes: Eigou Kaiki no Toki starts out with Kazuya entering the Bridge, where he finds Tapio and the Bridge hands busy at work. Coco explains that the ship has sensed a large energy signature being detected near them. An explosion is felt around the ship and one of the operators receives damage reports from the Third Floor. Kazuya runs off immediately as the third floor are the Living quarters. Kazuya will run to his chosen Angel’s room (at the player's choice), finding it in complete ruin his Angel nowhere in sight. The game catches up to this point at the end of Chapter 9.

* NumberOfTheBeast: In the final battle of ''Eigou Kaiki'', the Will bring out a fleet composed of 66 ships, with the flagship having 6 capital ships.

* AChildShallLeadThem: Natsume is the princess of the Arms Alliance and she's only eleven.

** Rico's pathological reflex for throwing men over her shoulder. Tact invokves this the most. This aspect of her character however becomes more useful as the series progresses and it functionally allows Rico to not only protect herself but also do some literal heavy lifting when required.

** Occurs one last time after the battle with Sorbet in Eigou Kaiki when he tries to take Tapio's half of the Luxiole with him.

* EmpathicWeapon: The H.A.L.O. System present in Emblem Frames from 1 still fully apply to the ones in II.

* AliensAreBastards: The Will are almost unapologetically evil in their supposed enlightened way of thinking that justifies wiping out other civlizations if they refuse to assimilate.

** Zettai Ryoiki no Tobira in a translated naming convention sense as the hub-dimension of ABSOLUTE is what zettai ryoiki roughtly translates to. The Chrono Gates that lead to ABSOLUTE also are mentioned a lot and are key plot points.
** Mugen Kairo no Kagi gets dropped frequently as it is the mcguffin of the game

* HundredPercentCompletion: Like the predecessor series, clearing the routes alone will not yield all of the CG for a given character as free roam segments still reward players with certain CGs.

** While not counting for completing the Gallery Mode of CGs, there's a lot of missable dialogue in general given how the game has voiced lines for even when characters aren't selectable in the free roam segments.
