For those who don't know, gottsuan is a very polite sumo-specific way of saying "thank you" and doesn't have anything resembling an English version.

** Kazuki’s route depends on placing pins on specific points on a large map of Shibuya according to the dialogue. Unfortunately, all of the map’s text is left untranslated, so any player who can’t read Japanese is left either resorting to a guide or just trying to guess the correct points based on the map’s features. (Fortunately this and all of the other issues are fixed with the Committee of Zero patch)

But instead of their imagination, it's the power of the imagination of ''other people'' and is triggered when [[spoiler:Kazuki says something and multiple people imagine the same thing, explaining why she's only speaks in grunts all the time]]. It ruined the life of the user's best friend and causes the entire plot to derail in one route, all inadvertently.

* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Takuru was given the RV in the homeless park because he, along with the rest of Aoba Dorm, helped them out.
* BlandNameProduct: At one point, Hana is seen playing a game called [[VideoGame/CallOfDuty Call]] of [[VideoGame/CounterStrike Counterfield]].

** The Real Sky Ending, despite being the happiest ending, still has elements of bitterness. [[spoiler:The New New Gen murders are brought to an end, Senri accepts who she is, and she and Takuru live a happy life with Uki and Yuto, but they had to give up the Aoba dorm and live in a dingy apartment, Yui and Sakuma are still dead (though the latter is an AssholeVictim, unbeknownst to Takuru), and Serika kills herself to atone for her crimes.]] In addition, as the True End reveals, [[spoiler:the characters are still unknowingly living with Chaos Child syndrome, but Mio May develop a cure as she does in the True End]].

Unfortunately, possibly due to this only being talked about once by Nono fairly late in the game, the game’s translation is inconsistent on which name he uses for Uki despite being consistent for Nono. He even refers to her as Uki within lines of the scene where he’s asked to stop calling her Yamazoe, making it a very jarring request.]]

* InterfaceSpoiler: After finishing the common route, one of the characters in the sound menu is still missing, so you know a major character has yet to appear. * PervertRevengeMode: Subverted in Chapter Seven’s positive delusion. After a whole incident in which Takuru winds up lifting the skirts of every girl in the cafeteria using his Gigalomaniac powers, all the girls (except Serika) look at him, ready to beat him up (especially [[{{Tsundere}} Nono]]). He then explains the situation and how it was actually Shinji’s idea- and the girls actually listen to him and redirect their wrath towards Shinji. [[DoubleSubversion Double subverted]], but still downplayed, in that Takuru still gets reprimanded for playing along.

* RealityEnsues: Nono's route deals with this [[spoiler:when Sakuma dies and doesn't have life insurance to support Aoba Dorm.]]

** The True Ending of ''Love Chu Chu''. [[spoiler:Takuru ultimately has to destroy the happy delusion where he and his friends can be happy and nobody dies to go back into the real world where he is still stuck in a prison cell, away from his loved ones. Wakui's plot is foiled, but he himself still escapes.]] However, the blow is softened in that [[spoiler:Serika promises to Takuru that they can meet in their dreams/synchronized delusions, and Takuru himself swears to one day Malén Wakui pay for what he did]].
* BlindIdiotTranslation: The official English translation is full of name errors and typos much more than a normal VN would be expected to have. It notably uses the wrong names in some places. Fortunately the Committee of Zero patch fixes all of these issues and even edits untranslated CG/images and backgrounds.

* DeadAllAlong: [[spoiler:Nono Kurusu.]]

* EarnYourHappyEnding: [[spoiler:Actually NOT the True End, which is more of a BittersweetEnding that [[TheHeroDies does not end well for Takuru]]. Nono's/Senri's route ending. After what she'd been through in her past and a personal drama between her and Takuru after he found out that Nono Kurusu he knew was Senri Minamisawa all along and that he'd been lied to the entire time. Senri finally decided to be honest and live the rest of her life as her real self. Takuru ultimately chose to forgive her as the familial bond between them were indeed real. They then defeat Serika, ending the Return of New Generation Madness. Uki and Yuto slowly comes to accept Senri as their big sister. And they're all able to move on from their losses and live the rest of their normal humble life in peace.]]

The [=PS4=] and Vita versions were localised for release in North America and Europe in Q3 of 2017. An english patch for the PC version was released by the Commitee of Zero group in July 2018 and the game got an official Steam release in 22th January 2019 (The Commitee of Zero patch also works for this version and fixes some bugs and translation mistakes)

* AdaptationDistillation: It takes about 50 hours to complete the entire game as well as the true route. The anime however adapted this story into merely 12 episodes and an OVA. Just like the C;H anime this adaptation is considered to be mediocre at best despite being loyal to the source material.

* ArcWords: Much like Chaos;Head's "Whose eyes are those eyes?", but instead it's "Those eyes are God's eyes". They don't really mean anything, though.

* BittersweetEnding: [[spoiler:The True Ending. Sakuma, one of the masterminds of the murders, has been more or less dealt with, and Nono/Senri, Hinae, Hana, and Uki are shown to have been cured of their Chaos Child Syndrome and are living happy lives whilst Serika gets a chance to live a normal life. * IJustWantToBeSpecial: Takuru has this as his main goal, and it is the main reason he wants to solve the mystery of the 2nd New Generation Madness. He wants to be special so badly that [[spoiler:during the Shibuya Quake when he developed his powers, he wished for his imaginary friend Serika to give him something important to do so he can prove that he's special. This wish inadvertently birthed his imaginary friend into existence with this wish being her only goal in life, and as a result she sets up the entire events of the 2nd New Gen. Madness and leads Taku on a path to solving it so he can catch her as the murderer and be renowned as a hero to the world for solving the case.]]

* IReadItForTheArticles: In one of his delusions, Takuru claims to read Cool Cat Press for the normal articles rather than the more questionable content. Though considering even the normal articles are still about things one would be embarrassed to talk about and full of misinformation that Taku ends up taking to heart, he's still pretty embarrassed at the thought of even Serika figuring out he reads them.

* LivingLieDetector: Hinae's ability, which is being able to spot lies with absolute certainty. [[spoiler:Though there are multiple ways around it, as proven near the end of the common route.]]

* ObfuscatingStupidity: [[spoiler:Serika normally acts as a {{Cloudcuckoolander}} GenkiGirl. In actuallity, she's a very deadly Gigalomaniac and a cunning ChessMaster who orchestrated the Return of New Generation Madness.]]
* OrangeAndBlueMorality: [[spoiler:Serika doesn't have a normal sense of morality, with her only view on what's "right" being that Takuru is interested in something. Kazuki's route even has her called out on this after she allows someone to kill him because she deemed it to fit her morals. Though this is justified, as she was created from nothing specifically to serve this purpose.]]

* PlayingWithFire: One of the killer's powers is pyrokinesis. [[spoiler:They were originally thought to be Senri but it was another person named Riko Haida impersonating her while using their power.]]
