Despite this, Light refuses to associate with them initially due to their title and has to be coerced by Alk and Stella to team up, but once they do, they prove to be valuable allies.

* BlindIdiotTranslation: The translation job for skill descriptions in the Global version is terribly done as it seems to be a side effect of the game internally mashing together variables to create the descriptions, something that works much better in Japanese than in other languages. Otherwise averted, as the writing is praised as one of the best parts of the game.

** Jaye's second unit episode starts with Jaye and an old merman exchanging books. The title of the book that Jaye gives the merman? "Bonkers Honkers." The subject material is apparently exactly what you'd expect.

By claiming that Nimbus is Selenus and that he wants peace between the two races, he hopes to trick the king of the dogfolk into signing the peace treaty and ending the war. * HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Suizen comes up with a gambit to deal with the resurrected Orochi [[TakingYouWithMe and the Masked Sorceress]] at once by using a DangerousForbiddenTechnique called the Circle of Corrosion, which would allow her to consume all of the spirits that Orochi is feeding on and destroy them by sacrificing her own spirit. The heroes don't like this plan and team up with Inaho to break the Circle of Corrosion, averting Suizen's attempted sacrifice and forcing the good guys to come up with an alternative method of defeating Orochi: releasing all the stored spirits so it can't use them to revive itself.]]
