* FlyingSaucer: The Nazis seem to be building them in Area 52, strengthening Spez's theory about space aliens.

** There's an early scene where a woman attempts to shamelessly flirt with a Nazi officer, showing how some Americans are all too willing to jump into bed with the winners if they can see an opportunity for themselves in it. [[spoiler:This foreshadows how Rip Blazkowicz sold out his business associates, his wife and ([[KickTheSonOfABitch posthumously]]) his son to the Nazis.]]

* AnAesop:
** This game is not at all subtle in showing how Nazi ideology corrupts everything and everyone who believes in it, and how collaborating with it is a product of selfishness and prejudice. Yes, everyone knows that Nazis are bad people, but it's shown ''how'' bad they are in the way their ideology poisons everything it touches.
** The game has a surprising amount of PetTheDog and CryForTheDevil moments as depicted in various letters from Nazis to their families. Oddly enough, this doesn't go against the former theme - the intended message is most likely "Yes, these people have family and others they care about. But they've been corrupted by Nazism, and they're terrible people who believe in a murderous ideology that destroys everything around them, so screw 'em."[[invoked]]
** The game also makes a point with Sigrun that calling and accusing someone of being a Nazi when they aren't, or lashing out at allies who only want to help, can be just as cruel and damaging as any other kind of label or prejudice.
** When a woman named Adler flirts with a German officer, he returns her affections and praises her zeal for agreeing with Nazi ideals, until she makes a misguided remark about 'impure Austrians', at which moment he ''immediately'' turns on her, because Hitler himself is Austrian. The lesson in this is twofold: Firstly, trying to cozy up to racists will make you a jackass. Secondly, trying to cozy up to racists will make you an idiot, because it's going to backfire when they inevitably turn on you for a perceived misstep. There's no consistency or sense in such misguided hatred, and you should never give such hatred the time of day.
** You don't have to follow up your parents' steps if they are in the wrong, as both B.J. (with his father [[LesCollaborateurs Rip]]) and Sigrun (with her mother [[BigBad Engel]]) display across the game.
** In addition to the bit above regarding BJ's father, Rip's racism and the complacent attitude of many Americans to the Nazi occupation bring up the important fact that 20th century America still had grave problems of its own regarding bigotry even when it fought the Third Reich. This leads to the aesop of never being apathetic in times of injustice, especially when Grace points out that marginalized folk have fought and still fight for their rights on a daily basis. Oppression doesn't need jackbooted Nazis to be any less real.

''Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus'' is the tenth game in the ''VideoGame/{{Wolfenstein}}'' series, and {{Sequel}} to the 2014 FirstPersonShooter game ''VideoGame/WolfensteinTheNewOrder''. After blowing up a shitload of Nazis with grenades aboard the Auswherer her jacket gets set on fire by a Panzerhund. She then throws it off to avoid getting burned and lays waste to the Panzerhund with two rifles as the blood of all the Nazis she killed rains down upon her]].

* DeathWorld: [[spoiler: Venus is as much of this in the game [[TruthInTelevision as it is in real life]][[note]]Venus has a concentration of atmospheric greenhouse effect gases several orders of magnitude greater than Earth. As a result, the average temperature on Venus is +200 ºC/390 ºF[[/note]]. When walking outside, you need to keep a constant eye on the coolant level in your atmospheric suit—the second it runs out, you'll burn to death.]]

** For some reason the Roswell level contains or refers to characters named [[Franchise/SpiderMan "Peter, Aunt May, and Mary Jane"]].

* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: During the mission in Roswell, BJ can overhear a conversation between a Nazi officer and an American woman who is way too happy to kiss the Reich's ass. She keeps going on and on about how wonderful Germany is and how they brought real culture and music back to America. When she admits she stopped listening to Mozart because she found out he's an "impure Austrian," the officer points out that not only is Hitler Austrian by birth, but so is his grandmother. He promises to report her name to his superiors and suggests she not step out of line again.

** BJ isn't a practicing Jew, but had a Jewish mother.

** Sigrun is obese.

* ImagineSpot: [[spoiler:When B.J. gets captured by Irene Engel, and then put on trial for his crimes, he is suddenly able to burst from his shackles, despite his body being stated many times to be breaking down, and massacre everyone in the courtroom. He then finds his mother, Zofia, and has a touching scene with her, afterwards he wakes up and the trial proceeds as normal.]]

* TraumaCongaLine: Geez, ''where to begin''. [[spoiler:Blazkowicz is already dying at the ''start'' of the game, and it gets worse from there. He kills his own father before being captured by Engel and having his mother's ring stolen from him, witnesses Super Spesh die in front of him, gets put on trial, has an ImagineSpot where he escapes the courtroom and kills all the enemy soldiers before meeting an apparition of his dead mother, wakes up, is sentenced to death, and ''executed''. Ouch. Talk about a TraumaCongaLine!]] [[spoiler:([[BackFromTheDead He gets better]].)]]

* AnguishedDeclarationOfLove: [[spoiler:Sigrun hits Grace and tells her to stop antagonizing her, then turns to Bombate and cries while telling him she loves him and doesn't understand why he won't return her affection. She concludes with declaring that even if he doesn't love her, she'll be thinking of him when [[ADateWithRosiePalms alone in her bedroom later,]] and there's ''nothing'' he can do about it.]]

* ContinuityNod: Panzerhounds can't be misled by grenades, likely due to Fergus [[FeedItABomb tricking one into swallowing a stielhandgrenate]] by telling it to "fetch!" in the prologue of ''The New Order."

[[spoiler: SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome occurs due to Spesh heavily overestimating his odds of rescuing the most wanted man in the planet from his ultra-high security cell and Frau Engel being onto his ruse the entire time.]]

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** The fact that BJ is called "Terror-Billy" and he, along with his resistance circle being marked as terrorist is justified by any society, as the bombing of Gibraltar Bridge in the last game visibly kills civilians as well, the assault on Moon has really high body count, with some of them being just guards doing their job, the unauthorized landing ended with the demolition of a London national landmark and citywide security system, and having one of his ally (in one route) broadcast forbidden media citywide.
** As high up in the Nazi totem pole Deathshead was, his death, and the deaths of all the Nazis before him, barely made a dent in their worldwide order.[[note]](Deathshead was also [[EvilOldFolks incredibly old]] by the time of the previous game and likely not far from a natural death. Not to mention many of his most important technological innovations/Da’at Yichud reverse engineering projects, had already been completed and integrated into the Nazi regime. Lesser scientists could carry on his work.)[[/note]]
** Sure, B.J. is tough and was able to survive Deathshead's TakingYouWithMe at the end of ''The New Order'', but it left him severely crippled to the point that he's reliant on the Da'at Yichud PoweredArmor to even move.
** [[spoiler: Caroline's PoweredArmor is heavily armored against small arms fire, so how do the Nazis get her out of it? They smash her head until she gets a concussion.]]
*** Related to above, [[spoiler: even though BJ is seemingly invincible while using Caroline's powered armor (albeit with a downgraded health level), he still suffers from unconsciousness and extensive damage when falling inside his old house as the house is ravaged by ''Ausmerzer'' within a high altitude, where Engel and her henchmen can easily apprehend him and stripped the powered armor off from him, as the powered armor cannot stand damage when dropped from such heights.]]
** [[spoiler:Not even B.J. is strong enough to break his shackles at the trial, and the RoaringRampageOfRevenge level during the trial turns out to [[ImagineSpot merely be a daydream]]. [[StealthPun Cut to his execution by decapitation.]]]]
** [[spoiler: Super Spesh's plan to break BJ out of his aforementioned capture is to pose as his lawyer, call in a guard after making it look like B.J. attacked him and kill him, then help break B.J. out. Unfortunately for Spesh, this relies a little too much on assuming that the totalitarian Nazis would actually honor any sort of attorney-client privilege and forgetting that he's a known political agitator. Spesh gets executed by Frau Engel, who reveals she knew who Spesh was and what he was planning the entire time.]]
** [[spoiler:Even aided by Da'at Yichud super-science, BJ's head transplant isn't easy. Once he gets decapitated, the resistance needs to work quickly to get an oxygenated blood supply to his brain. Shortly after he wakes up, Set advises him to take things easy for a while, so they can be sure the transplant will actually take and the body won't reject the head. Set also mentions other difficulties when he first explains the concept in regards to his cat/squirrel monkey pet, such as adapting the very different immune systems to work together properly.]]

* MookHorrorShow: Taken UpToEleven from the previous game, when B.J.'s ability [[MadeOfIron to come back from any injury]] earns him the moniker [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast "Terror Billy"]]. The first mission alone has Nazis tripping themselves over in fear as they walk straight into microwave traps and getting turned into mush while "Terror Billy" wades right through them in a wheelchair.

** This is taken UpToEleven in the final level, where [[spoiler: ''she'' saves BJ from an ambush, tackling him to the side as she dumps grenades at the feet of the platoon of Nazis that just entered. She has to [[FullFrontalAssault shed her top when it catches fire]], leading to her dual-wielding rifles to take down the Panzerhund as blood showers over her]]. BJ's [[InLoveWithYourCarnage only able to mutter a soft "Wow..."]] as he looks up at her.
