* {{Wingdinglish}}: In the Forest Temple, the duo are informed by Cheato that to solve a number of puzzles, they will need to decipher the Hylian Language (it uses a modified version of Wind Waker's Hylian language which is already Japanese Katakana) into English (A is an unside-down De, F is Wa, G is an upside-down 4, H is Bo, etc...). ** The Baby Dodongo is stated to be able to breathe fire if Banjo stands in lava...but it's used in Zora's Domain, which has no lava to be seen.

The story was supposed to be the same as ''Ocarina of Time'', but the Great Deku Tree could not awaken Link due to Gruntilda beating Ganondorf to the punch, needing for punch and imprisoning him as well as Link and Zelda in Hyrule Castle. She then hacks the code to send make herself ruler of Hyrule, so the Great Deku Tree sends Bottles to awaken Banjo and Kazooie to do the task instead. The only way to open the Door of Time is by collecting the Jiggies of Time.

----
!This hack contains examples of:

* AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs: Grunty does this to all of Hyrule, putting pictures and statues of herself in places and turning Lon Lon Ranch into Lon Lon Carnival, an AmusementParkOfDoom similar to Witchyworld.
* AmusementParkOfDoom: Lon Lon Carnival, a level similar to Witchyworld with similar music. It has a rollercoaster with a track missing, a tall tower, a diving board very high up in the air and a tiny barrel with water to land on, and an invisible maze.
* BigBad: Gruntilda, as usual; this time, she takes over Hyrule and steals the Triforce, and the duo must venture through the worlds to stop her.
* EasterEgg: Hundreds of tiny game boxes of Nintendo and Rare's games are scattered throughout the various worlds.
* EvilerThanThou: Gruntilda, of all people, managed to overcome Ganondorf in the backstory and imprison him in the Hyrule dungeon while taking the Triforce for herself.
* EvilTowerOfOminousness: Grunty's Castle, which is made in her image and has her waiting at the top.

* LighterAndSofter: Than ''Ocarina of Time'', which could get very dark at moments, especially in the BadFuture, and had unsettling enemies and levels. This mod stays closer to the Banjo lightheartedness.
* NoFourthWall: As is tradition, Banjo and Kazooie repeatedly reference the fact that they are in a mod, with Banjo enjoying the experience while Kazooie would rather be in an official Banjo HD game. They also reference the creator, Mark Kurko, [[SelfDeprecation with Kazooie insulting him frequently]]. When they finally get the Triforce, Kazooie's wish is to escape the mod and be in that Banjo HD game.
* NostalgiaLevel: Quite a few throughout the game:
** In the Forest Temple, entering a secret area will lead you to [[spoiler:Level 1 from ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI'']].
** Jabu-Jabu's Belly hides a secret entrance to [[spoiler:the first track of the original ''VideoGame/MarioKart'']].

** The third Secret Jiggy Level is [[spoiler:a recreation of the first level of ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry'', similar to another mod made by Kukro]].
** In Grunty's Castle, going inside her toilet leads to [[spoiler:a Christmasy version of the outside of Peach's castle from ''VideoGame/SuperMario64'']].
* PaletteSwap:
** Many of the Banjo enemies are recolored to look more like Zelda enemies, and one of the bosses, “Gohma”, is a recolored Nipper.
** The Mumbo transformations from the original game are retextured to look more like Zelda creatures, such as the Pumpkin becoming the Bomb Bag or the Crocodile becoming a Dodongo.
* PuppetKing: Dingpot has actually been declared King of Hyrule by Grunty herself, but as Kazooie points out, Grunty is clearly the one really in charge. The duo get Dingpot to help them simply by offering to make him real king when Grunty is defeated.

* SoftWater: Just as in the original game, falling into water will always break your fall. Gets ridiculous when one Jiggy in Lon Lon Ranch requires you to jump from a diving board at a massive height into a tiny barrel with water inside.

* TakeThatAudience: Played for laughs. Banjo comments that the Water Temple was way less painful than they were led to believe, and Kazooie accuses its detractors of just wanting to whine. Neither of them seem to realize that Link was nowhere as good at swimming as they are.
