* EveryCarIsAPinto: In gameplay footage, such as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovfZ6rW3d2s Game Informer's playthrough of the mission "Making Rent"]], enemy cars have health bars which go down by nearly half when they're sideswiped. A single good crash makes police cars explode, though the player's car seems to be much more durable.

It's still too early to tell how Saints Row-like the reboot will be, and this example feels WAY too bashy for the objective main trope page.

* InNameOnly: A criticism leveled at the game once the first trailer was revealed is that it's merely trying to cash in on the Saint's Row name while just being a generic open-sandbox crime game. None of the characters from the original series are in the Saints, the city different, the vulgar humor the series is known for is confirmed to not be in, andthe risque names of the various in-universe stores have been sanitized. The Saints don't even wear the same gang colors, having switched from purple to turquoise.
