During the conversation, Quinlan asks why Catherine was seeing him, hinting that he suspects that Catherine was up to something... whereupon Soap emerges from behind the desk, revealing that he's in a wheelchair.

* AmbiguousSituation: It is never revealed who really killed Josie Dorsett during the original Ripper game. It's lightly implied [[spoiler: it actually was Falconetti in most of the routes, and that Vince got him thrown in prison over it, but it is also implied it was a case of AccidentalMurder. If Magnotta's the Ripper, it's equally-lightly implied that he's the one who did it, possibly to set Falconetti up.]]

The murders are all revenge killings by a depraved AxCrazy psychopath who doesn't care who they have to use or kill to get petty vengeance. It's also implied that, more than anything, Catherine is just a {{Sadist}} who simply gets off on the lurid murders she is dishing out. In the strategy guide/novelization, it is revealed that her mother died to programming glitch rather than being murdered, rendering her path of vengeance pointless.]]
