Games]].

The ''Moonrise'' player begins as a newly bitten werewolf with IdentityAmnesia. The mysterious Alice drags them back to civilization, throwing them into a supernatural war between two political factions. The Masquerade and Rogues fight over the future of the {{Masquerade}}. The player must juggle the factions nipping at their heels, their human past, three burgeoning potential romances, investigating Alice, and surviving lethal encounters with much older vampires and werewolves. Or not! It's a StoryBranching game, so player choice is a priority.

The player can be trans or cis, and use she/her or they/them pronouns. All romances are sapphic, and polyamory and asexual options are available. The player's stats are Empathy, Bloodthirst, Snark, Responsibility, Uncanny Valley, and Defense.

Added DiffLines:

* AmnesiacHero: The player character starts the game with no memory of their past, or even their name. The PC can choose to embark on a QuestForIdentity and reclaim their past, or let fall to the wayside.

The PlayerCharacter has been bitten into a brand new supernatural underground. Congratulations! It's terrifying and heartwarming all at once. In a game made by a queer woman and for queer women and femme nonbinary folk, this supernatural celebration of queer femininity takes the player into the darkness and lets them own it. They can use their compassion and sense of responsibility to make connections and fall in love. Or use their newfound fangs and claws to rip, shred, and tear through their problems. ''Moonrise'' can be the start of a satisfying, shape-shifting life full of romance, or the blood-soaked birth of a new deity of the forest. The player decides!

* Play as a trans woman, cis woman, or nonbinary person; lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, or asexual.
* Date your nonbinary best friend, the ruthless Rogue leader, or the lycanthropic goddess amongst werewolves.
* Build up your Empathy, Bloodthirst, Snark, Responsibility, Uncanny Valley, and Defense to survive lethal encounters and protect those you hold dear.
* Pledge allegiance to the tradition of the Masquerade or the desperate, volatile Rogues.
* Expose the supernatural underground to the blistering light or keep their secrets in the deep dark.
* Embrace the feral monster within or hold fast to your humanity.

Added Bittersweet Ending, Ghost Memory, Opt. Sex, Romance Arc, Shout out, Trans, vamp harem, visionary villain, and world of action girls tropes

* BittersweetEnding: [[spoiler: If the player character chooses to wipe out their entire opposing faction, the call of the forest becomes too hard to ignore, and they must give up their human life to live as a wolf. If the player aligned with the Masquerade and killed all the Rogues, Chika will join them in the wilds.]]

Added Ancient Conspiracy, Bad/Good powers/people, grey morals, monster anon, reluctant monster, sliding scale, stages of mon grief, and unmasked world trope

* AncientConspiracy: It is implied the Masquerade faction has, well, maintained Masquerade for centuries.
* BadPowersGoodPeople: Any of the supernatural creatures in ''Moonrise'' can easily kill, maim, and perpetuate harm...but they choose not to, for the most part.
* GreyAndGrayMorality: Both the Masquerade and Rogue factions have their good talking points and people. There is no singular villain.
* {{Masquerade}}: An entire faction named itself after this trope.
* MonstersAnonymous: Both the Masquerade and Rogue factions act as support systems for their members.
* ReluctantMonster: The player can choose to show reluctance towards their transformation and new abilities.

* PlayerAndProtagonistIntegration: The player is the "wolf" who has taken over the player character's body, and a continuing choice through the game is whether to resume the character's former life or abandon it.

*OurVampiresAreDifferent: Though vampires are not as explored as the werewolves, there are hints that they have a variety of powers and weaknesses.
*OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: Like with any other werewolf media, the lycanthropy of ''Moonrise'' has its own rules.
*PlayerAndProtagonistIntegration: The player is the "wolf" who has taken over the player character's body, and a continuing choice through the game is whether to resume the character's former life or abandon it.
