* ArrangeMode: There are several alternate game modes. When starting a new file, players can select which ones are active.
** The randomizer mode reshuffles the positions of all monster species in the game, except the [[StarterMon Spectral Familiars]] and Bard.
** In bravery mode, the player can only obtain a limited number of monster eggs from treasure chests at the start of each area.
** In permadeath mode, monsters can't be used in battle after they're knocked out, but they can still use their overworld abilities. If all of the player's monsters are knocked out, the permadeath modifier is removed and they're all revived.
** Relics of Chaos adds several new equipment items that can be found in random treasure chests. They all either have negative effects, or can only be equipped by a certain type of monster.

** Once you finished Blue Cave, you can enter the Ancient Woods area by going forward in the Stronghold Dungeon. The second half of Ancient Woods, the Goblin Fort, are filled with Goblin type enemies. Goblins are weak against every Physical attacks making it extremely easy to get a high rating against them, increasing the chance for their egg to drop making it easy to build a Goblin tribal team. Individually each Goblins are quite good, Goblin Warlock is a strong support with healing and some debuff supports, Goblin Warlock is a tank that can shield your team and with a strong offensive support value, and Goblin Hood is a strong critical/debuff based attacker with potential for very high critical rate and the ability to strip down buffs by attacking. The tribal bonus aura of the Goblins are what push them over the edge. Warlock regenerates Mana, Brute reduces damage taken, Hood increases damage dealt and all of them give you 1 buff at the start of every turn. In a team together, a Goblin team have strong synergistic role between each other, that buffs each other just by existing, quickly buffs up your offense with Full Offense, and have the capability to control opponent's buff usage through Goblin Hood's attacks. While there are stronger teams out there, Goblin Tribal team are some of the most powerful team you can assemble especially considering how early they are alvailable in the game.

Misplaced, moving to the correct tab

* BrokenAesop: The backstory and MonsterCompendium entries show that the kings of the Old World were wrong for their prejudice in assuming monsters were AlwaysChaoticEvil, as the monsters were able to coexist with humans when the Keepers approached them peacefully. Your rivals also repeatedly state that acceptance and tolerance are fundamental values of the Monster Sanctuary. However, characters also use the BigBad's association with [[OurDemonsAreDifferent occult monsters]] as proof he is evil, implying they really are AlwaysChaoticEvil. This assertion goes completely unchallenged by the characters extolling the virtues of tolerance.

* AbilityRequiredToProceed: As is standard for {{Metroidvania}}s, with the twist being that the abilities are tied to the monsters you possess rather than objects or direct powerups (with the exception of the DoubleJump early on). Every monster has an exploration ability you can use to activate switches, reach higher ledges, break hidden walls, and more. Several areas are gated behind an ability provided by a specific monster that you can only get by completing previous areas; for instance, you cannot access Horizon Beach until you get a monster with a swimming ability, which you can first obtain after clearing the Sun Palace. While most abilities can be found throughout the regular course of the game, the Blob Form and Levitate abilities are notable for being found only in the BonusDungeon or {{Bonus Boss}}es, respectively.
