'''Mick and Mack as the Global Gladiators''', also known as '''UsefulNotes/McDonalds Global Gladiators''' in Europe, and just '''Global Gladiators''' in South America is a 2D platform game released in 1992 by Virgin Games for the ''UsefulNotes/SegaGenesis''. Following up ''VideoGame/McKids'' in 1991, this is the second [=McDonald's=]-based game that stars the duo of Mick and Mack rather than Ronald [=McDonald=].

The game begins with Mick and Mack reading a comic book titled "Global Gladiators" one day. Wishing they could be Global Gladiators themselves, Ronald [=McDonald=] overhears this and suddenly appears. Using his magic, he teleports the boys into the comic book world. Now as the Global Gladiators, its up to Mick and Mack to take down the goopy Slime Mutants and save the world.

The game is a side-scrolling action game where you guide either Mick or Mack through different colorful stage zapping enemies. The heroes are armed with a spray gun that shoots yellow slime that eliminates the slime enemies. At the end of each stage they play a bonus level where they have to toss trash into the recycle bins and gather bonus prizes. The game has an energetic soundtrack courtesy of famed composer ''Music/TommyTallarico'', who brings out the best of the Genesis soundchip.

!!Mick & Mack as the Global Gladiators contains examples of:

* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: The whole game begins with Mick and Mack reading a comic book and offhandedly wishing they were in it. Ronald is glad to oblige, without question. It's downplayed however, because the boys seem to enjoy the adventure and had lots of fun.
* ExcusePlot: Mick and Mack are teleported into a comic book world by Ronald for a little fun.
* GreenAesop: Your mission is to stop the Green Slimes from polluting the world.
* LawOfOneHundred: "M" Icons the appear in the game either floating in mid-air or killing enemies. Collecting 100 grants you an extra life.
* MuckMonster: The legions of Green Slime monsters that stand in your way. You can gun them down with you own slime.
* SicklyGreenGlow: The Slimes appear in stock green color.
* TotallyRadical: The game ''reeks'' of this, from the onset at the title screen you're greeted with a techno beat mixed with different voice clips.
* TrappedInTVLand: Mick and Mack are trapped inside of a dangerous comic book world and have to fight their way through the slime enemies.
