It's implied they all went on an exodus into space, and since everyone's still scared of going down there because of the aforementioned "none came back alive", it may have been recent. It was also implied Corrosive was intending to follow them.]]

* OurZombiesAreDifferent: the Zombots in the Scrapyard mission "hunger for fresh oil" and have to be killed twice. They're the undead remains of Iron Star's MechanicalLifeforms.

* DummiedOut: The boss of the Morbot region was supposed to be a large Swarmer, but was cut from the game because they didn't have time to program the AI. References to the boss exist in-game; most notably Slosh mentions that there's a "big mean" Swarmer at the Reactor. The music used for the boss is used for another cutscene, and the boss arena was reused as a multiplayer map.
