The game takes you outside the horrors of the Maw and into the horrors of what's beyond it; a vast land known as the Pale City. You play as Mono, a young barefoot boy wearing a paper bag over his head trapped in a world that has been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower with Six by your side as an AI companion. Together, the two must face the world outside of the Maw to save Six from an unknown fate.

Speculation. No sequel has been released.

* ActionizedSequel: Downplayed. In the first game, the main protagonist, Six, had to only run and hide from the monsters trying to catch her. Here, the protagonist, Mono, is able to at least defend himself from monsters. However, while the ability to fight back physically is present, Mono is only able to fight monsters his own size, and he can only do it should a weapon be nearby. Also, you can't keep the same weapon through the whole game, as many areas require Mono to leave the weapon behind (such as in the School gameplay footage and Hospital demo) or have it break in order to progress (for example, the sticks in The Wilderness demo).

Added cite to ZCE Evil is Bigger. Every trailer and demo shows the protagonists are smaller than their enemies but the video link shows Mono facing off Thin Man and displays the height difference best in my opinion but it is changeable if needbe.

Added DiffLines:

* EvilIsBigger: Mono and Six are tiny compared to most of the threats they face such as The Hunter in The Wilderness demo, The Mannequins in The Hospital demo and the [[https://youtu.be/TP_BJJm-n0g?t=98 story trailer]] show Mono is absolutely miniscule compared to the Thin Man.

Little Nightmares II is the suspense adventure sequel to Little Nightmares developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco. It will release for PC, PS, Xbox, Switch and Stadia on February 11th 2021.

The game takes you outside the horrors of the Maw and into the horrors of what's beyond it; a vast land known as the Pale City. You play as Mono, a young boy trapped in a world that has been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower with Six by your side as an AI companion. Together, the two must face the world outside of the Maw to save Six from an unknown fate.
